    I agree. I have heard both the 3 and 4 rotor with open exhaust at full tilt.....makes the hair on the back of the neck stand up!!! Sweet!!

    No, I'm here. Been out of touch the last couple of days (project location for work). U guys just aren't helping at all! I am leaning towards the non-flaired, minitub version.... Knowing how I operate, if I start doing bodywork, the projet will snowball like it did initially and I will never have it done.

    Also, BTW....does that $70 plane ticket include all the extra taxes, fees, and airport fees? I bet that ticket ends up being $100+.... Then, unless the dude is picking you up from Lindbergh Field, you will need taxi fare. Another Also: What if the bike is not exactly as descibed (yeah, that never happens ). You will need to fly back.....all of a sudden the truck is cheaper.

    Rent the truck. That is a long haul on a bike, I don't care how hard core the rider is. Fatigue begets accidents. It is gonna be more comfotable like you said. Plus...you go to the yard and pull all those GT parts and drop them off at my place Either way you do it, if you need a watering hole, my place is very easy on/off the 405. Tim

    Check for frozen ball joints, tie rod ends, or rack. Lack of lube on any of those will cause increased steering effort.

    I vote for the valve cover gasket. Clean everything around that area until spotless and shiney. Then watch for evidence of oil. A piece of white tissue paper or napkin pressed over the area between the valve cover and plug will tell you any sign of oil. Tim

    Cool....put a red tire on one side, a blue smoke tire on the other, and inject some tranny fluid into the exhaust (for white smoke).......how patriotic!

    Remember to let it crank with no spark plugs installed...stating the obvious, but it doesn't hurt.
