My Dad is doing a Boss mustang clone for a friend, but he needs some parts...maybe someone here has a line on some? Pair of 351 Boss heads (circa 1969) Boss intake for the above heads. If you have, or know where to find (for a decent price) please let me know. These have to get shipped to South Africa (I will buy and ship obviously). also needed is the entire front suspension for a 1996 Kodiak truck (less wheels)....it has 6 lug wheels.... Tim

The alcohol burns super clean, plus cleans stuff out. Try putting a 10% mix in the tank, running it hard (full redline shifts), then take it to the smog station and try again. Ask them to just do a check, not a test (do not report the results). If it looks good, run the full test....

The EGR lowers combustion temps which reduces NOx emissions. Did you fail at all speeds, or just low speeds? When I fist bought my Z28 (LT1), I had it smogged and it failed NOx badly. The car had been sitting for months. I took the car for a hard burn down the freeway, dumped in a gallon of denatured alcohol and retested....passed with VERY low numbers.....

Compare the gaps between gears....the 200 has better ratios in that respects and can be built to handle just as much as the 700.

First of all.....I am making this post, not as an Admin of HybridZ, but as a general member, and these opinions are my own and don't necessarily reflect those of the Admins and Mods of this board. That said...... I think that anyone who screws a buyer by knowingly misrepresenting the items for sale is scum. Someone who, in our 'close knit' Hybrid Z community, does it, is worse than scum. If a seller sells items that turn out not to be what was advertised, and doesn't make an effort to rectify the situation is in that same category and I think it fitting to have them called out in this fashion to answer for these issues. I know 240Z2NV personally and can wholly attest to his integrity, and can safely say that his posting here was his last resort to get some kind of response from the seller. I have bought, sold, traded, swapped and 'donated' many items here on HZ and have never had a problem. I still think that these type of issues are an anomoly here, but we are a much smaller community than E-bay, LS1.com, Zcar.com etc etc etc, and I would expect sellers on this board to be held to a higher level of integrity than the other boards...... My 2c worth.....'nuff said from me.......
