  1. enough!! It's NEVER enough. IT will be enough for a while, then you will want more, then more, then more.......it's a vicious circle!!
  2. Myron, Mike Knell is a member here on the board....I'm sure he would be happy to provide details. His last post mentioned that he was almost done with the headers. I think his handle is MikeJTR Tim
  3. Well....for all its shortcomings, here in CA I am still walking around in shorts and a T-shirt and 'flip-flops'
  4. Better be ready to take out a second mortgage on your house and give your first born.....
  5. Tell the insurance company EVERYTHING!!!! If they find out after the fact, they can deny the claim, and if you hit someone else, you will be stuck with the bills.....this is not the time to be vague. When I got my insurance ($20k agreed value coverage), I emailed the insurance agent a link to my website. That way there is no confusion....they have been notified.... Also, keep in mind that if your vehicle is not legal (ie does not have correct equipment re: State and Federal vehicle code), you could also be denied the claim. Be specific....
  6. A good set of basic aftermarket rods will be fine......stay away from the powdered metal ones..... Why are you replacing your intake and carby?
  7. Why the expensive rods....not like you are building a high rpm/compression engine....
  8. Pistons appear to SpeedPro Brand http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.asp?part=STL%2DH535CP30&N=110&Ntk=KeywordSearch&Ntt=speed+pro+pistons
  9. Damn Mike!!! The best quote I can get here in liberal land (and that's from the companies that will actually bother quoting) is $2850 for 540 sq ft of concrete around my new addition.......Construction companies are so busy and concrete has gotten soo expensive (black hole of China) that it appears they can ask whatever they want...... Tim
  10. I have not seen any mention in the CA vehicle or highway code regarding rollbars, so I don't believe you can get a ticket for them, but it may attract attention to other "racer" type issues. Tim
  11. Dave, From your call last night you sound to be in good spirits in spite of the current difficulties. Once the car is running, you will have some good excuses to jump in and go for a nice long burn!! Hang in there......from what I have have seen and heard, your car will be one of the finest Z cars around....puts mine to shame! Tim
  12. This one is really cool: http://www.back-adapt.net/#
  13. I'm dead serious too....WTH would you want to be tied down at 21!!!?
  14. Dude, have you price checked them at your local parts counter....cheaper than $60!!!!
  15. You are too young to have a girlfriend.....have one night stands and booty calls until at least 28 years old....SERIOUSLY....you will likely regret it if you don't.....
  16. oodles and oodles of play money.......boy, wouldn't that be nice!! I bet that Dodge Dealership is kicking itself!! So what's the fit and finish like?
  17. From what I heard it was to apply only to the Hybrid (gas electric type) cars because the State is losing so much tax revenue from lack of fuel sales from these cars. It won't get far because it will become a disincentive to purchase vehicles that the left wing liberals have been pushing so hard for so long..... Tim
  18. The filters are not the restriction in the oiling system. You won't have any problems. Tim
  19. **blushing*** Thanks Van....A good time was had by all!! It turned out to be a great day, weather wise! ***I must appologise to "RunningOnEmpty", who showed up a little later as he had to work.*** Well, when the unmarked black Cown Vic pulled up and two guys get out with badges showing......I was like "OK...what the hell did I do now?!!" Needless to say, I was a bit aprehensive when I answered the door!...sorry man!! Stop by anytime!! Tim
