  1. Lucky dog you.... I have to drive to Houston for the closest track.
  2. What that heck, right... might as well shoot for the moon. You never know about people buying from eBay. I've seen it happen many times. You get something like that there, and a bidding war start up and a $100 item end up fetching something like what he's asking...
  3. I have the Auto Meter electronic fuel pressure gauge, and it has one of those I think. Look at the pic. You can see where I have it plumed into the fuel pressure regulator...
  4. Thats what I told my friends and family members... lol. I told my brother, "it must have been printed before DNI"... I honestly figured that was the cause, especially since there was no mention of the DNI event.
  5. LOL.... I got a 1"x1" photo spread. And its representing Z Car.com at that... I was under the impression there would be a small write up from the DNI event, after being awarded the editors choice award. The representative from Nissan Sport Mag took a bunch of pics at the event, stating to me that it would be in the mag, under the DNI article. Wonder what happened to that article? There is no mention of this years DNI event anywhere....???
  6. Sorry, all I have is the tiny one that came on the first 240z. Its real small compared to all the other boosters I have had... I think the firewall bolt pattern is even smaller on the 4 bolts.
  7. Dang... $838.00 for a brand new 33/34 crank is not a bad price. What rods are you getting?
  8. Wow Stony, that sure bites the big one... did it give any indication it was going south? Was it up on song when it let go? I know its like talking about a loved one dying right away, but can you give us some details please... I'd say that you will most definitly have to take every single piece and part apart, and clean/flush all the bearing material for those bad boy parts to be safe to reuse. Did it starve the top end at all? I really hate to see that your expensive Jun head, cam journals got buggered... I really really hate to hear/see this my friend.... Just keep your head up and get to fixing.... thats all we can do when crap like this kicks us in the knuts....
  9. Sorry to hear that buddy.... I missed the first thread, doh!
  10. uh-ohh... something don't sound good.....
  11. Any things possible I suppose. Its something I wouldn't waste the money, or the money, or the money and time on. Having 5 gears behind my rb26ttz is more than enough shifting. You would be just going thru a whole bunch of $$ and effort just to say you have a very expensive 6 spd, in my opinion....
  12. LOL.... I didn't. I went 6" to 4".... click em
  13. Other than needing R200 half shafts and mustash bar, it should go right in.
  14. To hell with that septic. He will indeed get whats coming....
  15. OK then.... I will bring it down to the US post office and get her coming your way. Thanks to everyone who tried to help out on this.. joel
  16. So thats the very front of the block huh? I was expecting to see it from the side for some reason... The side plugs I believe, are further from the liners than the front plug is. What happen, you just starting smacking it thinking it must move quite abit, but instead, it was up against the liner almost instantly, but you didn't think it was, so you figured I'll get that sucker to move... one way or another...lol Please don't get mad... I'm just picking at you. I can definitely see myself doing that...
  17. How about a close up from the opposite side, where you used the punch.
  18. Now what you need to do is see if BD will exchange those pistons for the next size up oversize, and your block should be honed to that size. I think thats your best solution to the freeze plug screw up. You must have layed into that punch to do that to a stock bore block. Maybe others can change my mind, but I think you'll be ok using it if you go one size up...
  19. I would just take that block in to a auto machine shop and have it properly honed. I haven't seen any thing mentioned on what you are doing, or have done as far as this build goes... Are you re using same pistons? Is block stock bore? etc. Please give us something to work from here....
  20. Did you receive the kit yet? I'd like to see some pics if at all possible. Thanks
  21. The box is 24x12x6 and I didn't watch what the weight was... I'm guessing maybe 25lbs?? Anyone know what a stock turbo exh manifold weighs? Its going to Austrailia QLD Rockhampton 4701 xx Main St Park Ave. North Rockhampton
