  1. I wonder what he had done, the SS VLSD has a larger spline count input stubs compared to the ZXT . The VLSD shaft inputs are larger...
  2. I really really liked her singing in the second song... flawless if you ask me.... I'd say she has what it takes!
  3. Awesome results for being your first shake down tune. Is there any chance of the boost pressure getting into our "head coolant mod" hardware, allowing it into the cooling system? I know it shouldn't, but if the boost pressure gets past one of the sets of manifold gaskets, there ya go.... Just something to check. I highly doubt the head is lifting at those numbers. Tomei and ARP head studs are pretty good... Try a re torque and hopefully that will fix her up.
  4. That looks incredible!! I need to get my butt in gear and install mine. I love that color too....
  5. lol.... I flattened out the tiny tripod thingie, then I held it with my teeth... I also did some with it up on my dash.
  6. Good looking rb set up Evan!! I'm sure you already know about the MC. Shield, or wrap that bad boy before..... well, you know... Keep the progress pics coming. I'm digging it....
  7. Thank you very much for the kind words guys. I will try and get a camcorder and take some better videos for you. I really get nervous doing a wide open pull on the streets since getting caught last year during one just like the one in my first video. Lucky for me the cop wrote me for only 110 in a 50, and didn't arrest me.... (since it was out on a back woods road) So... I'll be real cautious making further high speed runs on the street...
  8. Not sure what your seeing AFR wise, my datalogs show it to be safe. It must just be the crappy video. Here is a milder run from the same time...
  9. Gabe, please email me with you guys plans for the trip...
  10. It's almost like somethings "timing out", which I know of nothing in the meter that would cause this ....
  11. This is just with a crappy desk cam. I will try and do a better one soon... and
  12. Sorry, don't have a pic of the intake side...
  13. Bummer, I have had zero issues with mine since day one. Everything on it works flawlessly.... I don't know what to say, maybe a defective unit?? I'm using the speed sensor on the RB25det trans, which I believe to be the same as a Z32 sensor. If I remember correctly, wasn't there just two wires coming off the sensor? have you tried switching them around? I can't help.... sorry.
  14. If I would have stayed with the orig twin manifolds and associated plumbing, then going twin would not have been as bad. But since I had to have all custom , that made things fit much harder. There is just to much stuff to cram into that small area going with top mount twins. Going with a top mount single (especially with a custom header) allows you to fit and run Any size single turbo you want. You will have a lot less heat too. I don't mind a little wait for a big single to come onto song. No wait (lag) = nice grin on face. Short wait (lag) = huge grin on face
  15. Get a vacuum canister from Jegs or Summit, then T it off that vacuum source, thats what I'm using. It comes with a one way check valve.
  16. Go single... I now wish I would have. I went with Garrett 2876r's (close to the 2540's), mainly for the "WOW" factor.
