  1. I offered a member here, looking for a 280zx turbo manifold, a free manifold I had saved up in my spare parts, but after taking it to the UPS store, already packaged, got quotes of $153.33 via USPS, and $284.00 via UPS. I know that folks that have business accounts and ship alot, get great rates. Can someone please help me, help the guy in Australia by getting him the cheapest possible shipping cost. I will do the leg work, if someone can send me a shipping label to print out, I will get him to paypal you the cash.... Please PM me if you can help us out. http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=132987 thanks - joel
  2. I'm running twin 2876r's and I had that same senerio happen to me when I first got my new motor up and running. It would idle and make strange swooshing sounds out of the compressor housings. I put my hand up to the inlets on the turbo's and felt air actually pushing out from the comp wheels as they were making those sounds. Come to find out, it was caused by me being stupid by hooking both breather outlets on the cam covers up to a catch can, but with no vent filter in it... The crankcase pressure was venting thru the cam cover vents, into the catch can with no vent, so it was caused by back pressure. I removed both lines from the cam covers and the problem instantly went away. I ended up adding a vent/ air filter onto the catch can. I'm not saying this is your problem, but its something to look into.
  3. Please don't forget the case of Bagged Gold Fish and cookies you promised me once you finished the long hours...
  4. Hi Mull, I see that the 4 lug hubs look to be the same fit as the 5 lug. I have a complete Z32TT rear drop that has the 5 lug pattern, but my CCW wheels I bought in 4 lug. Question is, it looks like I could just swap out the Z32 5 lug hub for the ones like your selling, as I'm sure the hubs on a lot of the models are interchangeable... I know the R32 GT-R and the Z32TT used the same axles, hubs, and spindles, as I'm sure several models shared the 4 lug set up (240sx, etc.) I'd like to eventually use the Techno Toy complete rear kit, where I'll use the parts from the Z32TT drop, but I want to go 4 lug cause of my wheels.
  5. I have a 88 Starion, I know the feeling..... I wish I had that kind of power, low down in the rev range with my RBZ. My Starion gets with it instantly, but poops out fairly quick. Its a stocker though....
  6. Mine is not as pretty, but it does the job. 4" all the way. click
  7. Very Nice!!! How much for the package shown? I can't find a dollar amount anywhere...
  8. Yes, but his motor was installed level. His motor has no tilt to it at all. That in itself causes the need for many custom modified mounts, pans, plenum's etc.
  9. I'll be right there waiting with what he needs...
  10. Looks like a modified Z31 rb20 rear sump pan to me....
  11. I think I will pull mine out and sell it... lol>> http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=010&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT&viewitem=&item=200214299312&rd=1 $1,325.00 WOW, and thats with out the needed special axles..... Good sale Kurt!!!
  12. Good to see/hear that bad boy again. I'll bet your relieved now...
  13. First off, no 260z here, in the USA came with FI. So, that means that the electrical fuel pump is not for EFI use. Its just a extra "pusher" carb pump. If you do replace the fuel pump, be sure to get a EFI fuel pump. Also, the fuel tank. There were no FI tanks installed in the US 260z, early or late.... Hope this helps. Good luck. j.
  14. . Ratings mutually withdrawn: 33 Looks like he has done 33 "pay offs" already for bad business practices....
  15. Why don't you just drill out the broken off piece of OE stud, then re tap the alum? I know... its hard to get right w/o messing up the alum a bit. What I've done is drill out the left over steel OE stud, then drill the alum to the size needed to install a helicoil insert. I've bought them at the auto parts store before. Don't worry so much about it being metric or standard, as you can find either type new stud at a good hardware store. I ended up using the next size up anyways because of the alum getting buggered up when removing the broken off stud. If you really want to fix the problem, then remove all the OE studs and install helicoils with brand new black oxide studs. Thats what I did...
  16. You can load them here http://www.imageshack.us/ and then post the links for us to click on... or... You can upload them right here on HybridZ http://album.hybridz.org/uploadphoto.php
  17. Monzter, that is utterly beautiful.... you are a genius!
  18. I still have one availible... $350 shipped or PM me your best offer.
  19. There is something strange about that Z.... it has a 240 rear bumper on it, but 260/280 tail lights. Is it a left hand drive? I like it. If it were local to me, I'd pay the money for it.
  20. You are getting cast alum end tanks with this unit. Most of the ebay I/C's I've seen are home made sheet metal tanks (and most are awefull looking). Also, the most common size are 3" thick cores. The one linked above is the 3.5" core. Makes a difference... I think thats a pretty good unit for the price. I ran a Spearco that exact same size on my last L6 turbo stroker.
  21. Thats better.... we are better. I'm sorry to have made any comments that offended.
