  1. It might not be either reason.... maybe he just don't know, like you don't....
  2. All that info is in the rb archives for you already>>http://forums.hybridz.org/showpost.php?p=635065&postcount=3 type in "dipstick" in the search this forum tab, you will get plenty to learn.... click
  3. I have a 89 R32 GT-R CLSD R200 with the 6 bolt even spaced 30 spline inputs.
  4. As of now, I have 5 of these in hand.... 88 SS Z31T VLSD oem axles (the long one needed for the vlsd to engage) ** Price to be anounced ** just seeing how many is needed.. All that is avail is the right hand side (long spline), as shown in these 3 pictures. click
  5. My Tec2 used to do that at times also. I would get out, pull both green connectors out, then push them back in and it would start. I also had a prob one time with the MAT sensor pin sticking out of the TEC unit itself. It was corroded inside the Tec and once I sent it in and got it back, no more problems... I ended up just putting in a Tec3r a couple months ago.
  6. Well.... you guys humbled me.... That shows why I like what HS30-H said in my sig .
  7. Tabs for what kind of covers? I'm certain those there don't use tabs. The metal ring is what holds those style on... Looks as though the screws are the only thing missing.
  8. Kudos Clyde, I enjoyed watching Matt transform your engine bay. Turned out real nice! j.
  9. Are you missing the correct axles? I may be able to help with brand new oem pieces ....
  10. Thats been like that for quite awhile now. Its been discussed.. Dum-Dums getting mad for one reason or another, go into their old posts and remove everything they posted, leaving the thread un understandable....
  11. Thats what I dd. I got one from Sean at RB Motoring for $400.
  12. I hear you, but that could be solved easily... have some alum AN bungs welded on... Or, I guess the bottom hole could be used for supply, and the top port for return...
  13. I have it still but have never used it. I discovered the bolt spacing by accident after receiving the new 1/2" alum mustash bar a member here made during a group buy. It appears to be a course casting, but other wise looks to be a good deep rear cover. I'm running the 88SS VLSD (Thagard axle mod) with the oem finned rear cover.
  14. Oh... a R200 is a R200, rear cover bolt pattern wise (every one I checked anyway)
  15. I bought one of those (might be a knock off though) and it has a different bolt spacing than the regular R200 we use. It fit the Alum mustash bar perfect that we had a group buy on a couple years back for the Q45 diff. I tried it on a R200 bar and it did not fit. So, long story short, the cover I have like that only fits the Q45 bolt spacing.. Can't say if they make them in more than one bolt spacing...
  16. R.I.P.S 240z may be for sale, gaging interest No thanks... don't want to down grade. I'm looking to upgrade.... J/K If I only could Rob.... I would!!
  17. IIIIII don't think that is correct. Not with out a custom adapter plate or the like.... Where did you see that info posted? I'm pretty darn sure thats incorrect info. Anybody else back me up on this....
