That my friend is why I have not dropped the hammer on my monster yet.... I only have a R200 at this time, so I know if a R230 will give like that (and its happened to others besides yours) my R200 won't take the lickin and keep on tickin.... I'm glad for you, that it didn't cause you but a minute down time. I couldn't be so lucky.... I need to get my rig to the dyno, just to see how close to those numbers I can get. I think I have enough turbo... whata you think ?? Anyway, glad your up and running already!!

Sorry, don't understand what that means..... If you mean have I put my foot to the floor in it yet, then yes, I've done a few WOT spirited runs in it with out over heating. As far as being a small inner dia., yes, I guess it looks smaller than stock. I have had zero issues with water temps, and I'm talking massive under hood temps with the twin long tube stainless headers. I have a new stock oem R33 GT-R water pump and thermostat with a dual pass alum radiator, and a 16" puller fan controlled with a 185 deg on thermo switch. I've never gone above 208 deg, and thats in 98 deg weather, at idle. ( 50/50 Antifreeze/water) I think -16 is sufficient for my application. It should work for you too, huh?

Everything you've done here with this motor build is woopa$$!! One thing thats bugging me is the angle the motor is tilted at... is that necessary? It just appears to me to be leaning to much to the pass side.... I'm not by any means picking this apart, just wondering, thats all....

Hi Joe, I forgot which Tec your using. Have you went to the Tec3r yet? I'm fixing to switch over, as I picked up a brand new Tec3r a couple weeks ago, but its still sitting in the boxes. I remember that forum back then (Shiv's). It was the only forum that touched on the Tec2 & 3. Its a shame there never has been a help forum for the Tec. Its a art to tune with it, especially if your using the WinTec software... There are guys that know what their doing when it comes to tunning the Tec, its just most don't want to share...
