The major issue will be your halfshaft input spline matching up with whats inside the new carrier...

correct... there are a few here, but between being shown many times, and being a little bashfull, they don't come out and play that often.....

Just asking here, but is it not possible to refurbish the rack? I've heard storries of folks digging into one, and finding that there really isn't much to them... I do know that just the inner tie rod ends are costly...

I know of a members N42 head that was flowed @ 218 and 135, and I belive that was with the TB's and exh manifolds attached. Lets see if he wants to chime in with all the details...

Are you positive of this? If so, that sure makes avail mo better.... As far as where its lining up in my car, I haven't tried it yet.... I used a rb25det box I bought, with the thought of the Z32 use at a later time (after I shread the rb box.... ) Its just waiting for use in my shop, along with a Z33 6 spd. I like the sound of being able to graft the bolt pattern, its just the other parts that have to be done exact, at the same time.... (distance from input shaft to crankshaft etc) Doug, thanks for the offer on the P/N's, but hold off and I'll take a look at the couple spare AWD rb26 trans I have in the shead. If that would work, it will make things go a lot easier when time comes to use the Z32TT trans behind the rb26.... Thanks for the info joel

I do know that the Z32TT trans has the same internals as the RB25det trans, so this is why I scooped up a freshly rebuilt one off Egay, with the hardyness in mind to use with my RB26... The Z32TT trans has been used with the RB26 motor, in a RWD config by simply swaping out the front bellhousing, but then of course there is the shifter local issue to be delt with...

Yes its sad to say, this has become an epidimic in this country.... instead of TAKE FOOT OFF GAS when light turns yellow... its all about STOMP ON THE GAS and go for it.....
