so that manifold puts the turbo right in the middle of the strut pillar? what about the w/g pipes... will they be ok? reason I'm asking is, I see that manifold up for sale now and then, and have thought about buying one for when I feel like playing with the BIG SINGLE route some day on my set up. Or..... maybe even doing another rb26 powered Z car but with a single..... just doing some home work...

Stony, have you test fit it yet in your engine bay? I'm wondering if it fits ok with that exact manifold/turbo set up. I thought I remembered seeing a post about this, but can't find it. I thought it had to do with the exh manifold interfernce somewhere....?

If I remember correctly, I belive Vince brought this up already about this hood. I think he said he'd perfer to do a hood of his own design, or one that hasen't been made already.... (something like that). I could be wrong, but seems like I remember this already being talked about?? VINCE??? (hint, hint)

Could new crome rings be made if someone who has a set let them be "borrowed" for a pattern? They can't be that difficult to copy....

hmm... I don't quite see it the way you do.... What if.... is the big question. There are a lot of what ifs that can apply to doing that. Mostly its, what if somehow, for some reason the donut'ee got hurt doing that, and decides to sue sue sue..... who's the looser then? That happens way to often these days. I belive in having a good time, and god knows I've dome my share of spinning, but if you get caught.... oh well, its time to pay up.... I'm not trying to start a war here, just my take on the subject....

I don't know what that gray bumper would go on, other than it maybe being a under the eurothane piece from a newer model... I have a front and rear bumper off my early 260z I may part with. Jamie, what did you come up with on your speedo issue? I think you can put a complete speedo sender unit from a awd rb26 trans into your 25 trans to make your AutoMeter electrical speedo work... I'd be willing to bet several folks here that have ended up with those trans with their motorset purchase, will not be needing them... Am I on track here with this post, or did I turn down the wrong road somewhere along the thread ..... I'd like to hear what you ended up doing... joel

Mike, are you using the HKS gasket? or a fiber oem type?. I had a HKS metal gasket leak on me, even with headstuds...

Find some one to sell you all the pieces off a 1st gen Z car with a manual trans (pedal assembly, master cyl) and that should fix you up. Except for the slave cyl on the trans (for the clutch fork) its all Z car parts...
