Trying to locate this Orig. Scarab I had in my yard, with the opportunity to buy it back around 1993-1995ish. I could have had it for $2,000 (I drove it to my house) along with two other 240z's. Stupid me, I did not know a Scarab from a June bug, so I had no desire for a V-8 Z car at the time. I did buy the other 2 cars from him, which one had a Cartech turbo kit with TWM's and a Electromotive Tec2. The guy was begging me to buy the Scarab so he didn't have to come haul it to his new location. I kick myself now for not researching it and buying it. I was a Z car Newbie....

I used it like you see it (just put a different larger oil capacity rear cover on it). MM R230 front diff brace, and their 1/2 shaft center bars. I have a few pics in my sig link below...

4:11 R200 GT-R clsd short nose (6 bolt axle) diff for me. That paired up with the RB25det 5 spd trans gives me excellent pull.

It's holding great in my rig.

See the circle around the pinion flange nut, that is different sized between some flanges. It will mess you up driveshaft flange wise...

There are different size bolt holes, bolt patterns, and center boss diameter.

Sure is... If not the cleanest !

Covers are blk. wrinkle now but this is my engine bay.

I have all the bits needed for that swap into your Z. And it's close to make a drive for. I'm really only interested in your MM front diff brace... Let me know if you want to try and work out something via PM.

I'm interested in this for live tuning use with my Electromotive ECU also (same as Rags).

Nothing to do with post count. It is a bug, as I can't use the "Like" feature either...

Bearing goes in the underside of the black donuts (strut insulators) on the front struts. The rear control arms are made that way... inter-changeable. EDIT: You beat me to it Sam

That's a gorgeous color combo! Sure looks sweet before cutting the body though... Have you thought of doing the ZG's body color? Either / or, it's going to be sharp!!
