Nice job!! I wish I could get the enthusiasm back I once had, (like you now have). I went thru many of the same things when I changed out the color from it's orig. blue, to the current red... It's a job to pull every part and panel when changing the color. I commend you on doing the paint yourself... it turned out nice!

I have one but it's still on a complete N42 motor in a parts car. I'm not able to remove it, so if you want to make the trip and pull it, maybe we can make a deal....

I've been using the same Odyssey PC680 in my Z w/o any problems since 2006. I do use the negative cable disconnect switch I have installed, in between use of the car.

Good deal I myself have two Z31T boxs, and two RB26 front bell's that need mating, so now I'm sure how to do it... thanks!

Did you remove the steel flat tab with the black wire wrap attached to it shown at the top of the front bell (right side) in Andy's pic?

That's one of the swaps done, but with just the front bell case piece being swapped, I don't think it's nessarey to remove much but the front plate, snap rings... To remove the rear case piece from the gear set, that's a bit more involved. I'm hoping someone who has actually done it will confirm, or tell me where I'm wrong.

Are just swapping bell housings only? I don't think removing those are required if so... RBZ32's swap link

IF that's the actual one you get from them, that looks to be a nice cond. motorset... Make sure they guarantee its the one shown!

AVG is great in my opinion (user for years!).

Dang... I did not know MSA sold trash gaskets. I was under the impression they sold Nissan gaskets when it comes to needing a good quality product in that application. I would not buy a fel-pro for use there.. I always used oem, purchased from Courtesy Nissan.

I just ordered Item #:91042010 from these guy's>> FAN SHROUDS I will be using it with this HD Spal 12" fan I just received yesterday via FEDEX >> My NEW FAN link I searched for pre made fan shrouds, and found quite a few variations, but I have a very tight area to put a fan, and it has to be toward the top of the radiator, so I think these shrouds I linked above gives me something to work with. The only part I may modify, is to cover all the cute air holes with rubber flaps, that will help the fan pull more air thru the radiator while sitting still...
