  1. Just so it will be here to, in case others stumble upon this thread. This is the "pie" shaped one you referred to?
  2. A few pic's I took in my yard yesterday....
  3. Pete S, I have a couple of those 5 bolt end pieces that are just like what you have shown in the pic above. They came off a z32 n/a 1/2 shaft...
  4. I had to much wide open area around the -12 screened pick up fitting inside the rear corner of the pan. If I would have wanted to make the Thaggard pan work properly, I would just add a round oil containing device, made up like R.I.P.S. and most others do. Even with the trap door on my previous pan, the oil was able to move forward, away from the pick up, un restricted (with out a container around the pick up) which allowed the oil pressure to drop off until the momentium changed again moving the oil rearward toward the pick up fitting. That pan could be touched up by a welder to work great. I just did not have any oil pan sumping experience when I received it bare, with nothing on the inside...
  5. I'm looking to upgrade to the Taurus 2 speed fan but can't tell which of these two are the correct fan to purchase. They are both advertised as Ford 3.8 Taurus Fan High Output 2 Spd fans, but look very different. Anybody able to help me make the wise choice? Click-em Thanks!!
  6. $300 shipped to 70605 and I'll take you up on it. I already have two spares of the exact trans, so I don't mean to insult you with this price, but that's all it's worth to me right now, sorry... If nobody bites, and you want to just get it out of your hair.... I'm your guy...
  7. I had a pair of Walbro 392's, and they seem to be crying out for mercy under boost all of a sudden, so I'm replacing them with Bosch 044's, one at a time.... Look at the difference in the pic I just snapped after swapping one out for the Bosch....
  8. The very common 3:54 R200 will help slightly.....
  9. Has anyone other than myself thought of the possibility of wacking off the long stub shaft on the wheel side of those new CV's shown in pic below, and having a steel plate adaptor (to what ever companion flange bolt pattern you may be using) properly welded onto the large left over portion of said new CV shaft? click
  10. Those look/fit really nice... I like!
  11. How are you going to keep all those parts from getting wet?
  12. I'll take one Gary. Please advise when ready for payment. Thanks!
  13. I finally got the RIPS custon oil pan installed, and got a few pics while it was up on jack stands, waiting on a couple fittings to arrive from Summit. I did not get a shot once all the hoses were hooked up, but it is completed. I drove it around a bit, testing the results of how well it holds oil pressure while under decel, and acceleration. It absolutely performs flawless!! It holds oil pressure under every condition I could throw at it. I'm 100% satisfied with the results of the sump!! Thanks R.I.P.S. You guys rip!
  14. One thing for sure is it will be oil and water cooled center section....
  15. Those are awesome looking Mike!! Must be nice to have your control arms in hand...
  16. Fair enough Dan... Thanks for the reply!
  17. YAHOO!!!.... of what a feeling huh?? I knew you'd get it...
  18. LOL.... I know I've done some bitchin in his threads, but not that much.... (post count wise).
  19. I just mysteriously lost aprox 200 some odd posts in the past day or two.... I was less than 50 shy of the big 3g mark, and today I notice I'm back down to the 2,7xx range.... what gives?
  20. HELP Please.... How come I can no longer attach pics in a thread in the RB forum, and some others, but yet in this Site Support forum the Attach Files Valid file extensions: bmp doc gif jpe jpeg jpg pdf png psd rar txt zip Attach Files option is available ....?? The only option avail to me in the RB forum is to up load them to photo bucket, then attach the code here in the post. The Attach Files option is available sporadically.... through out the different forums.
  21. Some people can't take constructive advice Mull... I agree with you, as today is the first time I opened this thread, just for that reason.
  22. Sounds to me like you do indeed need a new MC. There is no reason, other than the seals leaking from the rear, that fluid should be between the two parts. The MC upgrade is commonly used when the brakes are upgraded to larger piston size. Not sure how much of a upgrade it is for stock brake system...
