I've never had a turbo that blows air out of the intake of the comp housing while it's at idle. Causes/solutions ?

Paulo means well. I really wish he could put out a high quality CF part. I still have one of his front CF air dams, put away for installing at a later date. I'd really like a semi flawless rear panel from him. He told me via email that it's hard to get these pieces to look nice (strait weave) due to them being "hand made" with complex angles... He also told me he would make me one that would be much better than the pictured piece. I'm just a tad bit leary to buy one now... I told him when he has one ready, and sends me pics of it to OK it, that I would buy it. We'll see I guess...

I have a pair of the CF from John @ Reaction Research. I just have not put them to use yet. I'm going to install them in my new CF hood, if I ever get around to doing that.... John is a great guy, and great service!!

Are those even what they are advertised as? I did not know the 240z had round connector plugs....

I would just go back with what you pull out just cause you don't seem to know exactly what he wants. You can pick up a open 3:54 R200 fairly cheap, and not have to worry about if it will match up to everything, like you may run into by swapping diffs to another type (LSD). This is just my opinion... BTW You are asking in the wrong section, so you may not get the answers your after here.... This is the 79-83 forum.

I have a early 260 and the needed brackets are not on my car. This tells me that the 260 did not come with these panels.... I looked at my 76 parts car and it has the panels and the needed brackets are part of the car, not just the panels.

Sorry... I furgot. It's been awhile. I've seen them go for a pretty penny though. I guess it depends on how bad you want a nice pair.

I bought a set off ebay. There is a driver side also.... I placed the one under the glove box in place to see how it fits. It will take a little modding to fit it to my 260/280 dash. There is a couple little steel brackets that hold them in place, but I'm sure it would be simple to make up something to hold them in place if you don't have the orig bracktry...

John, any further work on this project?
