  1. I received my custom powder coated sump, made by Rips in NZ today. It's a definite work of art, and I'm confident my oil pressure drop during braking, will now cease. I have a alum Thagard pan, which is a nice piece to base from, but I failed to set up the sump portion of it properly, causing oil pressure drop on braking. I saw a example of Rob's work when member gmac708 posted pics of his pan being fabbed by Rips, so I went ahead and bit the bullet and had mine made. My pan is some what of a out of the ordinary design, due to the fact I am using a fitting off the Greddy oil pump I'm using, to make it external pick up. This way, my pick up tube exits the side of the pan (AN-12) then connects to the pump under the air con bracket to pull the oil from the pan. Below is some pic's of my new Rips pan. CLICK EM Thanks Rob!! Contact Rips is interested in a custom RB pan. e-mail rips@inspire.net.nz www.ripsracing.com

  3. Hey Tim, I saw this post in a seat thread here http://forums.hybridz.org/showpost.php?p=802417&postcount=67
  4. Nice job on the install... which Electromotive are you using?
  5. Very nice work... I'd be proud to sport that work of art!
  6. Wow, that looks to be a great price for what you get (if thats possible these days). I just might pick up the EGT and the 3 bar map meter... Thanks for that link!
  7. If anyone has this pump and decides they can do with out it for now, please advise. I need one (or two if you have). Also, I have a brand new in box Pierberg pump I bought from Corkey Bell, I'll trade for the Bosch. Reason is, I need a pump with AN capability's on the inlet/outlet, and the Pierberg has only the outlet able to use AN, the inlet is for a reg hose clamp.
  8. I'm watching this thread for answers. I now run twin Walbro's and they sound funny sometimes, so I want to switch over to 044's, but need AN fittings on the inlet/outlet. If anyone knows the correct fittings to buy, please do tell...
  9. Nice... but I really like your sway bar....
  10. My Ripps pan should be here shortly. I ordered mine soon as I saw gmac708's pics, but mine will be slightly different due to the fact I'm using a external oil pick up line from the pump to the pan. I'll post up some more shots once it's here... click-em
  11. Happy B-day, and hope you have a grand ol time today Dan!
  12. Sorry, I have no clue since mine is all gone, but have you asked on the other GT-R sites? Those guys know these engines top to bottom...
  13. My TT RB26 has quite a bit of go available, and I have noticed no difference in handling since I removed my rear sway bar (for the same reasons). I think your reluctance to remove it is a normal concern, but I say, give it a try if all else fails...
