  1. Just join 2 grills together. Heaps of people in Australia do it. Ill try find a write up
  2. PM sent to you both. If anyone wants to make some money by gathering, packaging and sending 240z roofs and doors to Australia. Let me know. Thanks Tai.
  3. Hi guys. Im wanting to buy complete 240z doors. As many as possible. Decent condition with all glass and hadware preferable. 240z only and not 260z There is a massive shortage of 240z doors in Aus, so looking to buy a heap and help out a few friends in the process. Would require the seller to package or strap to a pellet and send to the nearest USAtoAus depot for on-fowarding to Austrlia. Let me know what you have. Thanks Tai.
  4. Use dry ice on the inside or leave it out in the winter for a few hrs the undercoating should then chisel off in large chunks.
  5. Use the 280z top insulators instead of the 240z ones. They are about an inch taller and will increase the height of your car. Camber plates will lower the car more as you dont use the stock insulator but the thinner top hat
  6. I'd be keen for a full set of vinyls
  7. I could get one of those fisherman scales with a thick rubber band on each end and hook one end to the hood catch and the other end to the striker (or lower down the sides) and open and see what sought of resistance it takes to lift the hood. Would that work?. I think it may be more accurate than the theory of 21lbs on each strut/damper as the hinges already take some of the weight off the hood and you are merely opening it up on the same axis. And also depending how high up the hood you put the damper would also differ due to needing more leverage to lift the closer you go to the hinges.
  8. I just sold and posted a vented 77 bonnet last week and was 19kg (including vents and latch) so 42 lbs.
  9. I used Kbs rust seal for everything inside and underneath my car with a spray schutz (textured body deadener) over the top. Kbs works well if you follow their 3 step system.
  10. Yeah they are the same. But coupe console doesnt have the partition for the rear ash tray. Everything else should fit up fine.
  11. 240z bumpers will bolt right up to a early 260z as they are essentially the same car. After 76 they became more like the 280z with different door catches, stronger body etc. But i am basing it off cars in Australia..but it should be the same for you.
  12. I also have 275-40-17's all round. For some reason the ZG flares were way too narrow for me. Tyres stuck out abit front and rear..could be because i have 260z hubs upfront and disc brake rear which pushes wheel out an extra 5mm..or the brand of tyres and wider. Now running Wide ZG's. Had to move flares up an inch, delete my turn signals and modify my airdam. Running sectioned struts with Tokico illuminas and ground control sleeves.
  13. They are Rota rbx/rbr wheels in gloss black with polished lips. 17x9.5" all round. 275/40/17 tyres all round. Rears are bf goodrich semi-slicks. Running no spacers but rear has disc brake conversion which pushes the wheel out a extra 5mm or so over standard.
  14. I've seen a guy here in Australia use a plastic rubbish bin for liners on this 240z. He bought 4 cheap black corrugated plastic bins with those removable lids from a hardware store for like $5aud each. Then sliced a ring out of them and trimmed to fit in his wheel wells. Looked suprisingly good.
  15. By the way the above is running 275/40 upfront with ground control coilovers. With flares about an inch wider than usual zg's and Kameari airdam.
  16. I've recently been thinking of filling in the bolt holes on my flares and blending into airdam aswell. I won't be blending it into the fenders itself but will make the edge flush as i can. I have access behind the flare front and rear so im thinking of fibreglassing some bolts into the flares and running a nut behind the fender. But because my flares sit nice without having to bend it to fit i may just glue/urethane and clamp it firm until dries. Here are some pics of my wide ZG's from jdmflares. I've mocked it up with some masking tape to get an idea what it may look like if i smooth the join between airdam/flare and delete the bolt holes.
  17. Fits like a glove. A couple of them had a chip/blister/pinhole that i just smeared some bondo into but otherwise they are perfect. Its made from a fleece instead of matting which i think makes it less brittle aswell.
  18. I'm in Australia and purchased from Oscar at jdmflares.com based in the US. Very happy with the flares and service.Good quality and fit. Resonably priced at $300 and look almost the same as your first picture but with the front flares just as wide. Zforce productions never ever replied to my facebook posts, messages or emails so i wouldn't recommend them.
  19. They are Autogauge gauges. Made my Auto meter. http://www.autogauge.com.tw
  20. Yes i know but your also selling the supra 444cc injectors in the attached link. So can i buy both?
  21. Great. Can i take both the injectors and the pallnet?. Can you post to Melbourne Australia? If so PM me your paypal details and total cost and ill shoot you the money.
  22. WTB: JSK/PALLNET barbed fuel rail for L28et. Or any other aftermarket fuel rail that will suit and bolt on. Will consider an o-ring rail if the price is right. ps. been trying to email pallnet for weeks now to no avail..
  23. Thanks for the help guys. I ended up finding it by using part of the part number and done a broad search on the web. It is a tridon ignitor module and is interchangable with ones used on nissans/mitsubishi/hyundais. Found one for $30 on ebay Thanks.
