  1. I will get more detailed pics of the bottom of the entire rear coilover assembly this weekend for you, as I have to be under the car to fix a small coolant leak. No worries with crushing the shock whatsoever, I slipped some very strong rubber between the shock body and this metal sleeve that I made and I have inspected it many times and put over a thousand miles on the car since the conversion and everything is fine. Regards - Yasin
  2. Here is the detail build of my coilovers for my '83 ZXT: http://www.picturetrail.com/gallery/view?p=999&gid=1188927&uid=504386 Hope that helps. Yasin
  3. Cody - Here is what I made for my rear coilovers for the spring perch: The threaded collar sits on the bottom lip. Hope that helps - Yasin
  4. I consider myself to have a VERY advanced suspension for a ZX...I built this suspension almost two summers ago and it took over a month before I got it right. Many people have asked me to build a similar kit for their cars but I have yet to duplicate my set-up - maybe this summer (we'll see, time is a problems these days!). I did a full coilover conversion on my car and I would have to tell you that if you run a VERY stiff spring in the rear and drive your car on the street, then be prepared to have a jarring harsh and somewhat uncomfortable ride. Maybe the roads where you live are smooth (like glass) so you might be OK if you drive your car on the road regularly. Just a heads up. Here are some pics of my set-up: Yasin
  5. I did it the way Tony D described. Welded up the bottom of my fitting and drilled it - tah dah instant restrictor, which I welded into the stock sender. I ran all -3 braided line that I bought from Earls. I have posted these pics many, many times, but here goes again: Hope that helps - Yasin
  6. Wow...that is a sweet 914....I am sure it must be VERY fun and rewarding to drive!
  7. I have always loved the 7MGTE....and their power potential is definately there, definately a monster. Incredible pull...your car must be simply incredible with it. Yasin
  8. Wickedly wickedly cool! Awesome pull Yasin
  9. The bottom pic of the car with the really big red wing is the VERY RARE Datsun 300C Cedric Coupe Pillarless model...that bad boy is worth some bank! Yasin
  10. ALL RHD japanese cars from the era had their mirrors mounted on the fenders...that is standard, and does not make the car special. Also all Zs are known as Fairladys back in Japan regardless of powerplant...even the 350Z. Yasin
  11. That is freaking awesome!!! Time to put some wider rubber in the back! Can't wait to hear back on the dyno pull. Yasin
  12. Absolutely awesome! Love that car...you got yourself and awesome machine. Good luck with the Sway Bar mounts and the fine tuning on the Tec2 Yasin
  13. Found this on the 'net...real or photoshopped????: Yasin
  14. Tony - That is a very interesting comment on Javier's work on the TC24B1. Really confirms the power potential of a well ported P90. I remember back on the day when he used to spend alot of time messing with Datsuns.... Yasin
  15. I love the pink on their forum...very appropriate color wise.
  16. Wow..that is a damn sweet car! Yasin
  17. I am going to try my hardest to make it this year. I have been there twice in the last few times and really enjoyed it. X-fingers....I have alot of irons in the fire right now. Yasin
  18. Wow..sad stuff...John really had a spiralled career after the drug incident. I lived in England during the whole fiasco with DMC and how he cheated the British Government out of almost 100million dollars not to mention the job layoffs...he was not a loved name over there. I think he should have stayed at GM, he would have brought some great idealogy to that company. I did not realize he was 80! RIP Yasin
