  1. TiAL for me! Love them....engineered to puuurfection. I am running they bad boy 45mm on my little Turbo Corolla. You can see it pictured next to the Porsche 944 Turbo that I originally ran on the car before upgrading to the TiAL. They are fully rebuildable and they are a wide range of springs you can purchase for them as well. I bought mine from Road Race Engineering and they have the best prices and are an authorized dealer. Hope that helps - Yasin

  3. Well its on eBay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=6400&item=2482965800&rd=1 And the guy kept the Technics tables! LOL... No bids...no surprise. Yasin
  4. Cody - I drove my car today for the first time with the Corbeaus, they feel great, but I am 6' and the top of my hair just touches the T-Top shade, so I hope that they do settle down even a 18" would be fine! It would be impossible to waer a helmet with these seats, the T-tops would have to come off for sure. The Corbeaus are so wide around the shoulder area, that they completely block the rear 14 window and hence give a blind spot, so I have to be very careful with lane changing to the left for sure. Other than that I am very happy with them. Aaron - Yes I am selling my old 300ZX Turbo seats. $125 for the pair and includes the modified brackets to fit your ZX, complete bolt in! I have placed an ad on here and zar.com as well, please refer to the ad for any further details. Shipping will be extra. First person to Paypal or send me the funds and its sold. Please let me know. Regards - Yasin
  5. Thanks guys. Once I get some butt time on them I will let you know how they feel. Forrest - I ordered the Corbeau sliders with rails specific for my car. So it was an all bolt in affair. I would have prefered the Corbeau rails sliders in aluminum, but oh well! The seats weigh 24lbs each. Regards - Yasin
  6. Well I finally got my Corbeau A4 seats after a really long wait. I previously upgraded my car with seats out of a 1987 Turbo 300ZX Z31. The Corbeau A4 are very light (25lbs!!) and are fully adjustable reclinable with a tilt lever. The Corbeaus feel great and as I am fairly tall and thin, I fit well in them, I sit higher in Corbeaus than in the Z31 seats. These Corbeaus keep you well cocooned with the aggressive bolstering and would be awesome for a track day or a full day of spirited driving. Your lower back is well supported on them as well (which is very important for me). The Z31 seats are also very comfortable and its hard not too find a comfy position on them. The Corbeau is so tall that when you tilt the seat forward it rubs on the T-Top handle and actually touches the sun visor, no biggie, just an interesting observation. The installation went smoothly as I bought the Corbeau specific brackets which re-mounts the seat belt receptacle on the seat bracket. My wife got jealous after sitting in Corbeaus and wanted to know when the seats in her Civic will get upgraded, I half joked about making some brackets and installing the Z31 seats in her car!! Here are the Z31 I originally had in the car: Corbeau and Z31 seats side by side: Installed: Enjoy - Yasin
  7. Sorry to be the party pooper, but they freaking ruined a great car! Its the twin cam looks to be an SE model too. I would love to have an S13 and make it a fire breather. Oh well....must be nice to have the $$$ to destroy a cool car. Yasin
  8. Datsunlover - looks great! Keep up the great work, hope to see more progress pics. As a by the way, I worked in the Barrie up to Penetang area for several years and loved Simcoe County in the Spring --> Fall. Winter, well thats another story. I met my wife in Barrie too! We have since moved to Colorado but have fond memories. Great to see someone in the Midland area on here. Regards - Yasin

    NICE CAR!

And they have a Toyota Engine! (right out of the Celica, its the 2ZZGE engine!) Yasin
  11. Okay guys stop showing off and making us jealous!! WOW! and YUM! Yasin
  12. Wow - Scarry, so what was the source of the fire! Leaky injector I presume? I have lost count as to how many Z31s and Maximas I have seen at the scrap yard with under hood fire damage. I am glad you caught it early and you are fine and the car is fixable. Yasin
  13. Forgot to ask with these bumper guards on your buddy's cars (I saw a few cars with them on your website) looks like they belong on a SUV or PickUp: Yasin
  14. Beautiful, clean car love it! Front spoiler is sweet. Congrats! Yasin
  15. Juan - I have something very similar, I bought it off eBay brand new and is made by Craftsman. It is also an Infrared Temp gauge but has a laser pointer so you know exactly what you are pointing at, plus it has a few extra features like Peak hold etc etc. VERY handy tool and I bought specifically to measure engine temps (similar to what you have listed below). Pocket sized too. I paid $35 for mine incl. shipping. Here is a pic: Yasin
  16. Hey Bastaad - I had a similar situation happen to me, car spiked all of a sudden up to 230ish temps and I was about half a mile from my house, I pulled over under a tree and hung out until the temps got back down. I babied the car all the way home and then did a leak down to ensure that the HG did not go south on me and to make sure that I did not see any bubbles when I popped the radiator cap off after intorducing a 100psi into each cylinder. Everything checked out just perfect, car started and ran perfectly too after I purged the cooling system too (which was part of the problem to begin with, in my haste I had some bubbles in my cooling passages). Regards - Yasin
  17. I have an Aeromotive FPR I have only upped the boost to 7psi (for the time being) and with the vacuum line off, how much fuel pressure do you guys recommend? I figure I am running a little lean as my plugs have a bleached whitish look to them. I need to probably upgrade to one range colder as well. Thanks and regards - Yasin
  18. Go for it! The 7MG is a great engine, alot of people tend to be overly critical of them but I think they have great potential. In NA form it would be a great daily driver, in turbo form and modified it can be downright scarry. Yes HG are a problem so my recommendation is get a new HKS one and the ARP stud kit - for insurance. For $250 or so you have all the insurance you can get. For serious 7MG power, check out: http://www.7mgpower.com Regards - Yasin
  19. Cool! I remember back in 19971998 when the company went out of business temporarily due to Boyd being the ladies man and his wife finding out and his wife wanting a good chunk of his business. I am glad that the company was saved and is prospering once again. When I built my Datsun Pick-Up I ordered Boyds for it and even got a hand signed letter from the man himself. there were a one off set of 18" wheels and man did they transform the truck. GREAT GREAT wheels.
  20. Juan - Great video bro - gotta love the choreography skills of the CNC machine too! And excellent run too, you were not too far behind that Nova. Regards - Yasin
