  1. Well I definately have to agree with David K. The stock ZX(T) brakes works really well. When I bought my ZXT a few years ago I particulary impressed with the stock set-up and so decided to buy: 1) Front and rear Brembo Cross Drilled Rotors 2) Front and rear Axxis PBR Metalmaster pads 3) Braided steel lines all throughout Expect to pay around $675-$700 for everything listed above Everything was bought from Chris Meyer at Cyber Auto Parts - very friendly and great prices. At the same time I flushed my old nasty fluid. With the new set-up the car really claws down rapidly, I am very impressed with it and the set-up is very resposnive, has good feel and very resistant to fade. Evetnually I will buy Ross' 13" monster set-up to have the ultimate braking capability and also a bit of bragging rights too . But for the time being I recommend this set-up. Here are some pics. Regards - Yasin

  3. Hi Gang - I came across this website (actually brought to my attention). It is a study of all the major oil filter brands compared. And the conclusion shows that Fram filters are junk, and close behind Fram is Champion. The winners are Purolator, Wix and AC Delco. I have always sworn by Fram..... So what do you all think? http://www.scuderiaciriani.com/rx7/oil_filter_study/ Regards - Yasin

  14. Not a straight forward hybrid swap. You have to use the Japanese Altezza RWD tranny or get a custom bellhousing adapter made to mate the Toyota W50W58 tranny to it. I am not sure how the L series tranny would bolt up to it and what kind of work is needed there. Later model 3SGTE (3rd and 4th gen JDM) version were 250hp stock, 12psi boost stock and VVT. Strong engines that will look 400hp in its face and smile. Interesting Zcar conversion - nice thinking. Regards - Yasin

Here is a baby top mount top mount Toyota IC off a Supercharged Corolla (Japan only) versus the Gen.III Supra (7MGTE Engine) Here is the Starion and Supra IC compared and alot of Turbo ZZX guys run these ICs on their L28ETs: And here is the baby NPR IC that I will be running in my ZXT in a few weeks, compared to the Supra: Hope that helps - Yasin
