  1. Hi Gang - you might have seen a post where upgraded my fuel rail, added new braided lines with AN fittings where I could and also added an Aeromotive adj. FPR. I do have the stock fuel pump, which I would now like to upgrade to a high volume external pump. The pump on my car is original and has over 145,000miles on it. Its the classic "cowboy syndrome", you know the one where the old cowboy complains that he is not able to pee over the fence like when he was a kid! LOL! Here is what I was thinking: MSD - which supplies 43gallons per hour at 40psi - Price $90: -or- Vortech T-Rex - which supplies 43gallons per hour at 70psi - Price $190: My question is the MSD pump a better pump as it supplies the same volume as the Vortech but at a lower psi? Also what upgraded EFI pumps are you other modded L28ET guys running (looking for recommendations). Thanks! Yasin
  2. Looks like GM took a few pages out of their competitor;s styling books. That C6 is a blend of: Ferrari F360 PLUS (+) '04 Dodge Viper PLUS (+) '04 Honda S2000 Yasin
  3. I have not raised the boost yet as I need to buy a BOV and eliminate the factory pop off, just need to kick my heels in and do it. Drax - I paid $130 for the Aeromotive FPR from Summit. Hope that helps. Yasin
  4. Got everything completed today, had only a minor leak on initial start-up which was caused by a loose fitting (my fault). The bracket on the firewall I made from an old Toyota coil bracket I just cut-up and reshaped, drilled and then painted with paint from Walmart Racing! Car fired-up perfectly after sitting for over three weeks and I tweaked the fuel pressure on the Aeromotive FPR. Then went for an hour blast, had the car up to about 95mp/h and the car felt fanstastic and was still pulling like a runaway train. Boost is only at 7psi right now, will eventually be about 10psi. Thanks to Juan from JSK Innovation, for supplying the awesome rail and Autometer Ultra Lite fuel pressure gauge! Enjoy! Out with the old and in with the new! Completed: Regards - Yasin

  6. Holy crap! Amazing! Now that gives a new meaning to the term GOES LIKE HELL! How about goes like a bay out of hell on fire with steroids? Woof! Yasin
  7. Definately some billet wheels designs can be very tacky and too blingy....but there are some very nice designs as well. I have my reservations on CenterLine and went with a set of custom made Boyds for my '84 Datsun Pick-Up. Once thing about Billet wheels is they are extremely high maintenance and have to be re-polished at least once per year witha high speed buffer as they start to haze and look cloudy.....making them look cheap. Would you put a set of these on a Z: UG! I hope not! These are the billets I bought for my old Datsun top soil hauler: Finding a sweet 16" wheel is getting topugh these days and I was also looking for a 16" wheel for my ZXT, but could not find a design I liked that was also light, so I plus sized it and went up to a 17" and settled on these: Which I think looked cool as they were gun metal grey which offset the white on my car, plus the rivets on the circumference looked sharp and I am always drawn to a polished lip as well. One of the best 16" available today is the SSR (Speed Star Racing) as they are 11.5lbs each! Incredible and lighter than a Jim Carrey Comedy. I bought a set for my old skool Toyota Corolla and they are fantastic: I have done an extensive amount of research on wheels, and my friend's call me the Rim Doctor (soon to be opening up a hot line!!!). Its amazing how wheels can trasnform (or ruin) your vehicle. Well that's it - hope that helps! Yasin
  8. Its actually better to loosen the center 17mm nut but do not remove the nut itself, take it to the point where its on the last few threads then grab the steering wheel and toggle it from side to side it will eventually come loose from the splines and by leaving the nut in place ensures that the wheel does not bang you in face when it does break free. Don't ask me how I know.... Yasin
  9. Absolutely fantastic....that RB powered ZX was featued in SCC a few years ago (right after the Las Vegas Z Convention).....a set-up I am longing for.....WOW! RB26 wheels....brakes....driveline......need I say more? Yasin

  12. Thanks Juan! One of three - wow, so is tis going to be a collector's item like some of Carrol Shelby's parts a few decades down the road! When I get it all installed I will post some more pics for sure. Polishing the rail was not too bad, just takes time and it is hard work. Talk soon! Yasin
  13. Hi Gang - I took some time this last weekend to start ripping out my stock fuel rail and injectors and do some upgrades. The following are new parts going in: 1) 6 new plastic injectors blocks (all my original ones were cracked!) 2) New JSK fuel rail tapped for fuel pressure gauge 3) New Aeromotive FPR (Part Number 13109) 4) All new braided Earls lines with Earls fittings I made a new bracket to mount the Aeromotive FPR on the fire wall lip, which did not take too long. Here of course is the stock (before) set-up: Afte spending a few hours to remove everything. Pulling everything out was very straight forward and no major headaches: My new Aeromotive FPR: OE fuel rail vs the very cool JSK unit (thanks Juan): I then spent a few hours polishing the new JSK rail....came out pretty nice, after some elbow grease: Gotta love the Tabasco sauce for that mirror image flavor! More updates to come, I would have had it all completed this weekend but had some "honey-do's" that had to be done Regards - Yasin
  14. Beautful work. Would love to see some more updates. Yasin

  16. Well I guess I am clueless on what model cars are true collectors, but I stumbled across this on eBay. WOW! and the Tomica's detail is not the greatest especially in the 1:64 scale, I guess its just mint and VERY OLD. Check it out: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3570427278&category=50286 Would you pay almost $1000 for it? Yasin
  17. Great topic...time for the Slownrusty man to chime in: Still getting warmed up.....more to come! Yasin
  18. EFI all the way! Carbs are cool if you want to be nostaligic but in this day of technology....there is only one choice....EFI!!! Yasin
  19. I concur big time with Jon, ironically the old Datsun 240Z wheel covers hubacps are worth more that the slotted mags. Good choice on upgrading to 17s as well. Good luck with them though - Yasin
