  1. That is a truly awesome video....makes you appreciate how much work and skill goes into the assembly of one of these cars. Yasin
  2. I would be very interested as well. Please let me know. Thanks! Regards - Yasin (slownrusty@yahoo.com)
  3. Well I can talk first hand about a welded diff. I have one in my car and absolutely loathe it. I really do not recommend welding your diff if you drive your car more than one per week. With the welded diff, making a turn into a parking spot say you were going to the grocery or the movies, one wheel fights the other as they are physically welded together as the outside wheel wants to travel more than the inside wheel. Hence the "chirp....chirp..", more like a "chung...chung....chung...." This destroys tires too guys. If you strictly drag race or road race your car go for it, cheap and effective. But if you look at it from a practical stand point - I strongly do no recommend it. I have had no problem in the wet, but once it does rain, I drive like a grandma, as the last thing I want to do is loose the car getting off a highway exit and have a new Armco hood ornament. Regards - Yasin
  4. Talk about garbage...I'm glad that no one was gullible to buy it - sheesh! Yasin

  7. Jeff - When do you think you will be ready to start taking orders for the downpipe? Please let me know. Thanks! Yasin (slownrusty@yahoo.com)
  8. Check this vid gang....awesome until the very end...show what happens with a slight misjudge and maybe a little over confidence. One of the best 4wheel drifts I have ever seen! I bet the owner with the Lotus Elise crapped their pants, when the EVO was passing next to it. If you have problems viewing the video, right click and do a "Save As" http://www.teamnightkids.com/videos/lancer500.mpg Enjoy - Yasin Shot in Germany - not sure which track
  9. Wow...stunning....I think that car was featured in a magazine (can remember if it was Sport Compact Car or Turbo) a few years ago. Absolutely beautiful and big kudos to the owner! Regards - Yasin
  10. Here is motivation for us all...incredible.....what you can do when you are determined! http://www.robhelms.com/turbomain.html Yasin
  11. Rated Z - nice pics...thanks for sharing....that metallic silver '83 ZXT is flawless! Yasin P.S: Your car looks awesome as usual
  12. On my 280ZXT I did block it off - no probs on the L28ET its also located on the downpipe too. Yasin
  13. Hi David - Close....I took this picture back in 1997 - can't believe its been almost 6years. Yes and its at ZCar show held by the ZCar club at Nissan's HQ in Mississauga (just outside TO). We spoke quite a bit back then and we talked about the power of the SC in your car and I remember being very in amour with your car (its been my wallpaper on my home PC for about 8months now!). Yes I do have the blue SR Nissan 720 truck - thanks for the compliments. I still have it and still runs extremely well, I would like to sell it this year, as it hardly get driven. I just sold my MR2 powered RWD Corolla last week and I have an '82ZXT (project car) and my daily driver is an Altima. Since I moved to Colorado 3years ago I certainly miss attending the ZCar shows in Toronto. the last one I went to was in 2000, do you still attend. Here is my website : http://www.picturetrail.com/slownrusty And no problems I will email that pic to your work address, I also have a pic of the engine compartment that I took back then when you had the Jacobs ignition - would you like me to email a copy of that as well? Nice catching up with you - Yasin
  14. moridin2004 - Good catch yup that looks like Malcom's bigger brother. Yasin
  15. Every aftermarket fuel rail I have seen for the L28E requires an aftermarket adj. FPR. EBay seems to have a bunch always for a good price. Yasin
  16. David - Sounds great. Ross's 13" brake set up is ultra sweet, I know that some time this springsummer it will find its way onto my car. In the mean time good luck with the install and also don't forget to snap lots of pics. So your car will handle and stop pretty amazing. Speaking of pics here is one I dug up....I am sure you remember the place and year? Enjoy! Yasin
  17. Cody - Actually I did not put the AC back in, as in the three years of ownership I never actually used the AC, except the odd time to run it, so I left it all out. Plus with the IC is going in soon, I wanted to move the AC condensor and also free up some weight and room. The car without the AC and half tank of gas now weighs 2,850lbs Yasin
  18. This is what happens when you take it to the street + traffic + high speeds http://www.krif.com/tta/movies/tegcrash.WMV Yasin
  19. Hey guys, I installed Flex-A-Lite twin slimline puller fans over the past summer, I removed the AC first - which hurt as it was working perfectly and then I proceeded with the install took a full day - but it was overall a not too difficult install. The results - excellent, the fans are thermostatically controlled via a copper temp probe in the upper rad hose and there is also a manual cab mounted overide switch. I bought the fans from Summit Racing. Here are some pics: The pictures look deceiving there is alot more room between the fans and the front of the motor and most importantly lots of room for me to squeeze in my IC piping. In the pics you can also see my 60mm KA24 TB. Hope this helps - Yasin
  20. Clifton - Here is the dyno chart! Lookin good!
  21. Forgot to mention that it only cost me $50 for these seats and as you can see they are very clean - no rips, cigarette burns etc. Good value and excellent comfort! Yasin
  22. Here is a picture of the 1987 300Zx Turbo power seats in my '83 ZXT. Took a day to put them in and no cutting or drilling of rhe floor, I made adapter brackets out of aluminum to bridge the wider spaced holes in the 300 seats and then "bridge it" to the 280's stock holes location in the floor. Pretty simple just back breaking taking the seats in and out of the car all day! The new Celica seats are fantastic I agree but I have not seen any of them show in the scrappers yet! Regards - Yasin
  23. Clifton - nice strong pull - congrats almost 370WHP! Your extra injectors should be the fix and having the SDs too! If you want me to host a pic for you I can, you can email me at slownrusty@yahoo.com Keep the good work up! Yasin
