  3. There are only a few places in the US that does DLC coatings. It is the latest technology being used in Nascar, Formula 1 and most high performing motorcycles come with this from the factory due to the sustained higher rpms that bike engines see. The only car that comes with DLC from the factory is the Honda S2000. JE offers this as an optional coating on their wrist pins. If you want to read more check: http://www.oerlikon.com/coatingservices/ I have more info if you would like. Regards - Yasin
  4. Yup she is definitely quite big...and the inlets and outlets are 2.5" Yasin
  5. J- Yes I will have to punch some holes in the rad support for the piping, I have the left side done already when I ran my NPR IC. Its sexxxy! I am running a three core automatic ZX radiator with twin Flexalite electric fans set at 180, with a cab mounted overide switch. This car will not be driven in stop and go traffic, it will be strictly an evening or go out for a mid day blast car. I don't think it has driven in stop and go traffic in 4years..LOL Yasin
  6. Wow.....exciting and congrats...bet you were the happiest man alive last night! And I want to see more of that last video clip! Yasin
  7. Its not...it is at engine builder's. If you need pictures of the head please do a search under my name as I have a few posted on here in a few different threads. The P90 is uncut, just a slight lick taken off to make sure its perfectly flat. The JE slugs are 8.0:1 custom made and will be mated to the 9mm 240Z rods. Regards - Yasin
  8. Thanks for the compliments gang...it is the exact process that Swain uses. Thermal barrier on the combustion chamber. http://www.swaintech.com/ Yasin
  9. It was a promotional stunt by Pontiac...to show that their wipers work ALL the time, even in submerged conditions. Yasin
  10. Wow..I cannot imagine! Impressive.... Yasin
  11. Finally after months I got it today....24"x12"x3.5" core (which I know is a common size for many of you higher hp guys)..I will have to make new bumper mounts (no biggie) and it will drop down another 2-3" and sit perfectly in the nose of the car. The intercooler was made for me by http://www.cheapturbos.com Yasin
  12. Ceramic coating..... The JE Pistons (skirts and tops): The combustion chambers on the head (valve job will have to be done): My engine comes home in about a week!! EXciting schtuffff... Yasin
  13. Gang - The 280Z I pulled out of the forest has been coming along. The gas tank has been boiled for two and looks impressive (pics to come). The fuel sender was in terrible shape and had alot of flaky furry corrosion on it from sitting for 13+ years. I have thoroughlly cleaned it and it looks very good, but would like to bench test it...does anyone know this procedure? I am sure if I put 12V to it, and have it in a bucket of water the float will move along the windings and provide a resistance I can test. But what is this? I have an OEM factory manual and it does not provide any specifications of insight? Can you please help. Thanks - Yasin
  14. Stealth...awesome...thanks for sharing....! I wish mine looked that nice...The west coast cars are beautifully preserved. It makes me smile to see these cars being rescued and brought back to life. Keep me updated please! Regards - Yasin
  15. Wow..those guys take their Street Racing VERY seriously. I know its easy to preach to take it off the streets, but its a RUSH and the hype with everyone around you, the cars, and the money is climatic. If you have ever particpated in any type of Street Racing you will know. That Z is incredible (understatement)...and I enjoyed that 25minute vid, music was pretty good too...! I heard an ice cream cone just before a street race is always good luck...LOL! Yasin
  16. I agree on the Corbeau fabric...extremely hard to keep clean and yes they fade! Yasin
  17. I just picked up a pair of perfect Eclipse ESI seats all cloth from the scrap yard for $20 for the pair. These seats will fit in the S30's narrow space, they have bolt in rails not riveted, so easy to modify. Another cheap alternative is the Z31 seats, which are awesome and can be easily had...and fit also. I had these in my car for 3+years and loved them: Yasin
  18. check your frame rails and the floor pans...these are the typical S30 weak areas. Do a search under my name and you will see I rescued a S30 from the crusher...I smile every time I see it, even though its on jack stands. Aftermarket sunroofs are a terrible thing...especially for these cars. Yasin
  19. Thank you! The car was completely stripped during the build. The car was originally from Texas and so absolutely perfect. Took 3years and only the best parts went on it...think over $20K spent. I belive there are few AE86s that will run with it. When I had it on eBay I had people in Japan wanting to buy it off me and ship it to them...it was very flatering! Yasin
  20. Absolutely incredible detail.... http://www.martin-heukeshoven.de A twist on models...these are made using actual rusted metal and decayed wood...prices are $10,000US for the Renn Transporter below (its 3feet long)...the detail is mond blowing and representative of what you will discover in a barn or rotting somewhere...I cannot imagine the time to build one of these! The RennTrasporter: For those of you that know the coveted Facel Vega: 356: Bugatti 57 XK-140 Jag Yasin
  21. Congrats man...I really dig Benzes! That is a totally cush ride with plenty of power when you need it... I hope it stays super reliable, otherwise it will put you in the poor house! Yasin

Cool video and beautiful car....that car looks INCREDIBLY stiff...and its running 3x50mm Solex Mikunis...wonder what hp its putting out. Yasin
  23. 1985-1987 best years for the Corolla especially in GT-S form (4AG engine). Yasin
  24. Off the top of my head...fuel pump. Spray lots of starter fluid into the nipple on the intake manifold and see if it will start and run for 10-15secs. -or- crank it and see if fuel comes out of the gas line coming out of the fuel filter line...put the end of the line into a beer bottle as a viewing window. Yasin
  25. This is an actual T58...it was so big it did not fit inside my 280ZX engine compartment... Yasin
