I wish I could run a TO4B! Damn steering conflicts on an S130! SL600....cocky owner anyway and probably needed a good humbling. Yasin

Paul - many many thanks for your help and generosity so far! I really appreciate it. Best Regards - Yasin -
Wow totally totally sweet Z love it and the stance is all attitude.. love how clean and the fabrication on it. What turbo is on it and also the IC specs? Any estimate on the HP? As for the 911 Turbo Slope Nose in the back ground, yes they are laggy but if its stock it is running the VERY old (this 30year old design) antique 3LDZ KKK Turbo - 282hp stock. A fairly quick change to the newer KKK K27 turbo, 3" muffler and B&B headers and change the wastegate spring to 1bar and 420ish hp is now at your finger tips...trust me it transforms these cars and they come alive very quick. If its a factory slope nose it worth an easy $50K Cool pics. Yasin

I bought 6 of these little buggers from Terry...thanks bro!! The shipping from Japan was so fast, I thought he hand delivered them! I love them, Terry totally hooked me up...I'm such a big kid...aren't we all? Thanks again T!! Yasin

Wow that thing is bitchin' huge...and the price is slutty cheap! Great score...and good luck getting that bad boy to fit in the nose of your Z. I just bought a brand new IC from http://www.extremeintercoolers.com and it was not too bad modding it to fit my ZX...wish I paid $75 for it!!! Good luck. Yasin

You can have an entire running car off eBay for less! Those are ridiculous prices.... I bought this car for $150 - fully driveable and actually unbelievably quick - Borg Warner T5 in it that shifted smooth. Yasin

Turbo compressor wheel and housing damaged - useable?

I wouldn't mess with it. Lots of pretty cheap alternatives out there for upgrades. -
Maximum boost with stock EFI and fuel

Kabooom! -
Guys he is planing the manifold flange not the flange on the turbo itself...take a look I already had him weld a 1/2" spacer on it and then cut it back, so there will be lots of meat left on it. Plus I am going to heim joint that manifold to the block and tranny bellhousing for additional support. Sparky - I am unsure what you mean about the head bolts? As the intake and exhaust manifolds are bolted to the head so once I torque down on the head the intake and exhaust manifolds and the head all move down together at the same rate. Yes I am going to make 4 angle washers for the turbo manifold flange. My fabricator is going to plane only outer edge A to meet dashed line B (approx a 0.4" shave) without touching the bottom edge of this same flange, thereby causing the turbo sit closer to the intake by rotating the turbo up..hopefully giving me the .8" I need down at the steering linkage for clearance. Hope that helps? Yasin

Austin - Awesome bro...you and your car is a motivator to get my POS finished and running! I needed that re-juvination from Tunerzine!!! Yasin

This is Gory..but Car Related..Not For The Weak of Stomach
slownrusty replied to slownrusty's topic in Non Tech Board
Did you guys notice that the model that burnt alive was wearing a strappy dress that melted onto her? Also, did you notice how huge those header collectors were? I am hoping that as sad and truly gory this is, that they did not suffer by burning alive and (I know this sounds sick) but passed away by the COsmoke inhilation? Hard to say...but either way really really sad. Yasin -
Well guys I just got back from my fabricator (Great Great Guy!) - I took my head, intake, exhaust manifold and turbo to him - he kept laughing as I kept pulling cars parts out of the trunk of my Mazda....LOL! This is the game plan....he is going to plane the turbo flange at an angle thereby clocking the angle of the turbo up towards the intake, but still giving me enough room to get a silicone coupling and hose clamp on there. I am going to do a little simple geometry tonight and see what that translates too! This might just work....pics and follow-up this time, this place tomorrow. X fingers for me! Thanks for all the chime-ins and help and suggestions. Yasin P.S: Ivan I thought about running some new universals on my steering linkage but it seemed like more work and more messing. And can you post that pic anyway for grins? P.P.S: Clifton and Moby thanks for your comments - very useful.

Maximum boost with stock EFI and fuel

At 12psi you're pushing it. This was my old set-up... 10psi with an Isuzu NPR IC, HKS SSQ BOV 60mm TB 3" exhaust stock down pipe stock EFI stock electronics stock T3 turbo car ran like a bullet...and pretty much took down some pretty big game with it. So be careful that extra 2psi.....you never know without an EGT or wideband. Yasin -
I was feeling good about welding in that 0.8" plate but now after JohnC's comments I am having strong second thoughts...I really do not want to change over the bellhousing on the tranny and run 720 pick-up mounts - I know this is Hybridz...but still. I am this close -><- to ordering a new turbo that actually fits and getting rid of my nice new T57. Seems like there are many varying consensus' Confused! Yasin

Thanks for all the feedback and comments guys!! I am not worried about the re--orientation of the shifter. J.S - Yes that pic was taken with everything bolted up and then the jack placed under the crank pulley to give me the clearance I needed. KC - 1/4" isn't bad...but I am proposing something that is more than three times thicker than that, which is why I wanted to check first. Regards - Yasin

Guys I need to weld in a spacer that is 0.8in thick on my driver's side engine mount, so this will cause the engine to tilt more than the factory orientation. I need to do this so that my new larger T57 Turbo can clear my steering linkage, couple of questions: 1) Is this OK to do this? 2) Does this cause any stress strain say on the opposing engine mount (passenger side) or upset any of the other balance harmonics? Here are the pics: And here is a teaser of things brewing...: Thanks a bunch! Yasin
