  3. Wow...very cool...I tuned in on this project! Great to have a dad that shares your passion.
  4. Standalone and a bigger turbo is all you need. Trust me on that! Thats why they call me Slow AND Rusty~ Yasin
  5. Paul - Thanks for the chat again! You are a great guy and patient too...I felt like a donkey after speaking with you...no wonder might wipe pattern looked so inconsistant! I'll post some more pics soon - hopefully representing something worthy of being posted! Chat soon - Yasin

  8. Wow bro thanks for thinking about me...that is the total HAWTNESS!!! I actually saw some pics of it recently too on http://www.pelicanparts.com But these are the best pics to date....WOW! I am speeechless and the attention to detail is SIIIICK! Its a 993 model twin turbo, so that from 1995-1997 - last of the air cooled but its got the "S" rear trunk lid (surprisingly) not the turbo trunk lid spoiler combo.. Running 18" Kinesis wheels (looks like 12-13" wide in the back), intercoolers mounted low in the rear bumper (nice touch!) and more CF than I cear to count! Simply simply awesome! I'm humbled Yasin
  9. Sad granted....but he flirted with loosing his life many times...some of these guys try to go overboard with trying to create the "wow" factor when on camera...eventually I guess it does catch-up with them. Yasin
  10. Twoeightnine - You are awesome bro! That is exactly what I had in mind....thanks for taking the time to do those illustrations! I greatly appreciate it....I am confident that set-up will work! I will let you know how it turns out...more work ahead! Many thanks again! Yasin
  11. Wow...very impressive work and detail! I am very impressed, having lived in Canada and only owing Japanese cars...I cringe at the thought of rust So will the car appear in your first film production? Yasin
  12. Paul - Did you receive my message (left on Friday)? Regards - Yasin
  13. You lost me bro! Bracket B can be moved any direction I need 360degrees around that shaft, I can even cut and reweld it based on the best option, so that point is fully adjustable and can be modified accordingly. Point A pretty muich has to to stay in the orientation it is. But I could flip the pivot ball from the inside to the out by cutting it off and re-welding it - if that helps? What do you think? Yasin
  14. Sorry Pusher - rotating the TB is not an option as the arm would catch on the corner of the manifold and also the TB is not symetrical for the bolt holes to line up...good thought though. I did not think of that!
  15. Hi Gang - Got around to drilling and tapping my intake and mounted my 67mm BMW TB (off a 1986 735i BMW) this morning. I messed around with linkage arms and the springs and have some ideas on how to connect things up but wanted to get some further suggestions. Basically I want to connect from A --> B, I'm OK with cutting and welding arms or whatever..just need something that is simple and will ensure WOT when the gas pedal is to the floor. Part of the problem is the angle of the face of the new intake but I am sure I can overcome this. I do not want to convert to a cable style linkage. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance! Best regards - Yasin
  16. Thanks Doc! I never thought about hand feeding them, but I bet you are right and they would straight out of my hand! Yasin
  17. Not to hijack your post Dr. but I had the same thing this morning in my back yard...I wish these buggers knew how to turn some wrenches my Z might be back on the road!!! Yasin
  18. G Man - Did you open-up each port on the intake manifold where it mates against the head or did you retain the stock diameter? Yasin
  19. Wow! You never know who you might be messing with! Worth watching...trust me! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_izd39hq198
