  3. Don't click on this.... Never mind pleas click on this link. It is really cool!
  4. You would think their pics would load faster. Took for ever over a T1 line. And not very many at that.
  5. Nope, I almost bought him a 92 V8 Chevy Camaro. Choices change in 3 years. I'll let him decide then.
  6. Yep two, boy and a girl, 10 and 13. My son is already trying to claim my Z! What really sucks is I'm very house poor. I make great money and it all goes to the house. To me the novelty of the house has worn off. We were in a great area before, but the house was small and the neighbors sucked. Now the house is great but the neighbors still suck!
  7. I've got a super nice car now. Moded to the point of true fun, but NA. I WANT a 400HP Turbo, but I am really questioning why. Is it really needed? Who besides myself am I trying to impress and at what cost? I've got BIG dollars tied up into parts waiting for more money to come in for my TURBO swap now and I probably won't really get much more in. (New Budget). Then I have to some how convince the wife of the need to spend it if I do. What is enough? Is there ever enough? Thoughts?

  9. You should jump on this if you can. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/240Z-Pedal-Assembly-Datsun_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ140725QQihZ019QQitemZ290196853698QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWDVW
  10. Clutch slaves (both firewall and on the Trans). Clutch line Pedals
  11. I burned my finger removing the + positive terminal grounding it to the car and my wedding ring. I had a blister all the way around my finger and it was twice the size of my finger. Removing rusted tail light bulbs from my Z only to have the glass shatter and cut the Sh_T out of two fingers. Wear a glove or a rag. Dumbest was adjusting the chain on the kids go cart. I was bearly moving watching the chain go around the sprockets. Looked a little loose, so what did I do, I touched the chain. Sucked my finger right into the clutch. Had to roll my finger out from under the chain. Have permanent hole mark on my nail, and at the time two nasty gashes on the other side of the finger. I look at moving pullies in a whole different light now.
  12. Phil, what rear end is he running and what tires?
  13. What test is that? What's it do? Not heard that one before.
  14. Oh, if you get it, document your time and money spent on each thing you do. I'm curious to see how it turns out. This would be great thread for others to read with good data like that. Regards and good luck!
  15. Sorry, didn't mean to tangent your post. Your info you provided gave me enough to vote from now. Buy it if you can get it close to 1K. Engine may or may not be good, but you should still have something to work with unless the PO isnt' telling the truth. Evan Purple240zt makes a very valid point. ------------------------- Sorry, I have to change my mind after looking closer at the pics. I would not undertake such a project. Your going to need a lot more time and money then your planning for to get it going. . . . . . . .
  16. Do you have at least 5-6K in cash? To me being in Orlando, your close enough to check AZ. For time, money, and effort, you should find a pretty decent Z in AZ. I was this close to flying out for one in AZ for 5K. If it hadn't been that I stumbled on this one in FL, I would have flown out. Lets say you get it for 1K, and the motor is bad? Then you have 2K in it. Likely it will need paint. At least 3K for anything decent. Now your at 5K. For that money, you may be able to get one with all Kinds of things done to it already and just drive and enjoy. I don't know your skills, time, or money. If you have money, you don't need time or skills, you've already done that to get the money. If you have no money, then you need lots of time, either to add to it as you go or learn the skills to build / improve it; or both.
  17. So I was checking out your site but didn't see any times or how you did in Pinks all out?
  18. First one is better. I kinda want to see one where the tire pops!

    I like.....

I like it, but to bad it's not a 4 door.
  20. I found it! Yes It does hit you in the face. I had to look like 4 times.
  21. http://www.surfingcocoabeach.com/surfshops/rvinno.html I had a Dodge Caravan. It was not the grand, but it would fit a 10' LB to the front windsheild to the back window with about 10" to spare. It had to be the non coolest surf vechicle. Gas milage was around 17.
  22. I've been in a cult and understand his point. He's just advising not condemning. My only thought, when I was young, I had great work ethic and thought the owner of the company really would let me move up in the company. I was super dedicated even to the point of only taking a 3 day honeymoon. It got me nothing.
  23. This is a Florida forum, but pretty good none the less. www.2ndlight.com I use a pick up and would use a pickup if i were you. My 02 Frontier gets 26mpg. Granted really only a 2 passanger, but boards are never a problem. Just pad the tail gate. Look at older toyota 4X4 with 4 bangers. Very dependable as well.
