  1. Well some progress on the zx over the weekend me and XNKE as you guys know him ripped all my hand made megasquirt harness out and ran a diyautotune pre made 10' harness and mounted my ms in the glove box instead of the driver side kick panel. I used a ford relay/fuse box from a cop car and tied it into the acc fuse box. It now powers the whole car and is easily accessible under the hood beside the battery where the fuse-able link box used to be Ohh yeah we done away with that horrid thing also. I finished the down pipe to run a 3'' full exhaust i had to turn down off the flange in 2.5'' then flared it up to 3'' and turns under the car. The z32 trans is almost disassembled Having problems getting the main shaft out of the center plate. Stay tuned...
  2. I used a cheap grant adapter and wheel on mine i think autozone ordered it for me... If this helps.

  5. Sorry for the delay on the z32 trans swap it is still in progress i am awaiting the rebuild to commence so it can go in the car to get the driveshaft length guys. Stay posted.
  6. Whooo some more it looks so good. I got to recoat the black on the driver side because the damn humidity was to high and it kinda looks gray but soon will be black as the rest. This is my new favorite picture right here ^^^^^^^^^
  7. Some of the rust i fixed and am fixing in the front frame rail using 18 gauge and yes its thick. And a good shot of a rust hole and my new earls ss brake lines.
  8. Well after fixing rust caused by neglect and bad weather i done some body work. Try not to give me a hard time i have never done body work in my life so i did what i could and it turned out good enough for a old race car.Tell me what you guys think!! This zx had some fender and headlight bucket damage when i hit a drunk guy on a bicycle that ran out into traffic and i was the lucky one to lend a fender to slow him down. This guy gets hit at 45 mph and gets up and runs off and a second biker following him stopped to tell me he is drunk and not to call the cops!! I called the cops and it was filled as a hit and run on his part because i had witnesses and 225 kumho witness marks one the road from me mashing the brakes. The fantastic city police never found him so i got to eat the damage. My front fender had some body filler in it when i purchased it but was never apparent till i hit the cyclist haha. I had to cut all the old filler out and pushed out most of the dents and reasons they used filled to begin with and plastidipped the whole car red and the trim back to black. hows it look guys. And yes i picked all the red off the tires already.
  9. Well after lots of masking and help from my beautiful wife the zx got sprayed with 3 gallon of red plastidip last night and it looks killer now to mask off my black trim to respray black pics soon!!

  11. Im running a frozenboost intercooler i got new from them for $169 and the thing is bomb proof. I got the type 11 with same side enter/exit love it been on the car for almost 5 year no problems And to top it off i hit a raccoon at 80 mph point blank in the intercooler and no damage lol. good luck.   12. Okay fellow hybrid z members im Going to be the necromancer today and bring this thread back from the DEAD!!! This project has exceeded my expectations and just keeps on going. Well in 2013 or so i upgraded to a turbonetics to4e 50 trim compressor and a stage 3 turbine wheel with the stock turbine housing bored out to fit. Then made a full 2.5'' down pipe and exhaust and proceeded to run the boost up to 16 psi and the car returned a low 13 sec quarter mile time at 107 mph. I thought it would do mid twelves if i had any traction in the first two gears but we will see. Anyways I am in the process of spending more cash as always and i just got in a new obx lsd a xenon front airdam and a one piece spoiler that is very similar to the victory one from msa but fits the zx. Also my brakes have always sucked so i got ss brake line kit from The Z store and some ceramic pads. 3 gallons of plastidip red and the gun to spray it. I also added some xxr 15x8 wheels. All you zx guys out there listen up This goes out to you!!! My t5 trans is coming out and a fs5r30a z32 box is going in with a hoke adapter that i scored from a member here. I have the machine work done and will post pics i have the driveshaft ends With part #'s and am going to give the driveshaft lenght as soon as i mount it to check length. I ask if anyone had this info months ago and came up dry well they can all kiss it because im going to spill the beans!!! Stay tuned guy and gals its going to be a fun few months.

  14. Hey guy's im posting this here because the site will not let me post it where i want. Anyway i was hoping some of you s130 owner's could tell me the driveshaft length for a z32 trans swap. This way i can have it made and my swap will be able to be completed in a weekend for that's all the time i ever have to spend on this at a time. Im going to run my l28et and my r200. Would be greatly appreciated and save me a week.

Well guy's after Xnke and i installed a rather frumpy delta cam a few month's back my zxt no longer had the fuel to run the boost i have grown accustom to (14-15 psi) that i was running with the maxima cam. After all these month's of 9 psi i made it to xnke's garage last night to get one of his beautiful fuel rail's with built in regulator. While doing so i got rid of all my cheap fuel line and replaced it all with 10 bar efi 5/16 hose and efi clamps. Now running 44 psi at idle and boost back up to 15 psi ( for now) the car runs smoother than it ever has and i now have my power back to do third gear burnouts and roll stripes of fire from 50 mph whhooooo the red rocket is back!!!! I have not gotten to shot any pics of my regulator setup but i will soon.

  21. Do it!!!! Never look back go big as you can. It's almost impossible to have to big a intercooler.

  24. I wanted a set of those so bad when i first got my zxt. sadly could not find them in a usable offset. They are made for fwd applications. I guess you could run them with a huge spacer but that's why i didn't. Good luck!!!
