  1. And the Feds have Marshalls - Ask Tommy Lee Jones.
  2. I've got one of these bad boys - easily pulled mud- and rust-encrusted calipers from the junkyard, without rounding off the fittings. One trick is to tighten the fitting a few degrees before loosening, just to get the threads moving
  3. Nice body finish work. Is That big silver can on the driver's side of the radiator support one of those bilge fan "electric turbos". Looks like it feeds right into the AFM. Oh - maybe its the alarm siren horn. In the '60s we had these joke stickers for cars like "Tuned by Sears", "Checker Clutches", and "Pep Boys Camshafts". We need a new one "eBay Performance Parts". With a logo shaped like plastic turbo fan. Back on topic - a Very Nice Car.
  4. "Big Ford" - as in the $600 Explorer rear disk brake kit that Falcon and Mustang racers put on 9" rears?
  5. This was drawn by Stan Wada for an article on ZHOME. I just went out in the snow and measured one from a 280Z. The display on my digital caliper kept fading - and my fingers shiverred due to the cold, but I measured 3 times and got the same numbers. Height = 2.375" o.c. Width = 3.289" o.c. Center hole = 3.152
  6. Anyone know a source for the plexiglas headlight bubbles and trim rings? Specifically For the G-nose, original or replica.
  7. How about this IRS? Pretty extreme angles for U-Joints. Personal Speed Buggy
  8. Here is a step-thru of a patch job: Sunroof Removal
  9. About 25 years ago my cousin was driving his old VW beetle down the freeway in L.A. with a "For Sale" sign in the window. Some guy flagged him down, and bought it - cash on the side of the road. Seems he was looking for that particular car for some dynamic analysis. My cousin asked him why he wanted it so much the guy told him "we are going to roll it." (I never heard if the test driver survived)
  10. I read on a Mazda RX-7 page that these cars have the 4 x 4.5" bolt circle and 15"x6" wheels. Nissan 240SX Toyota Cressida '85-'88
  11. Check out the "SUPRANG" links. Never worked on a Supra driveline, but....I do have a '66 Mustang and the IRS idea really jazzes me. Are Toyota Celicas 4 x 4.5" or 5 x 4.5" wheel bolt cirlces like the Nissan / Ford?
  12. My bet's on the Munster's Koach and / or Dragula - especially if Herman is driving. in the quarter. Both powered by a Ford Cobra 289, BTW. Leave it to George Barris to Hybrid-ize a casket.
  13. Something like this would look great on a Z! FIAT convertible hard top Imagine the rear visibility
  14. Don't see these for 351W often shwing!
  15. kwote "I have a 240Z with a Ford 289, a GM T5..." New topic: What Bellhousing did you use to mate this combination?
  16. http://kitcars.com/Classifieds/AdDetails.asp?classified_id=1321
  17. I guess that hood scoop threw me! But I see real 280ZX hoods are a bit longer and the sugar scoops end in a curve already. If anyone hasn't see a G-nose kit fro the ZX, is there any interest when I build my own?
  18. Only one I've seen was in a Granada behind a 302.
  19. "Is there any way to save that video to my computer? " Arif, Using IE? Right mouse button: click on the link, menu pops up, "Save Target As"
  20. Red Convertible Anybody know if this is a kit or a one-off? Looks like a 280ZX with a G-nose. Convertible with cowls behind the seats....."Lambo" scoops between the doors and rear wheels. There are 2 similar cars in the photo from at the West Coast Nationals 2000 Gallery. Thanks Eric for sharing those pics. Thanks for any leads.
  21. I like the dash on this 250 GTO "This is NOT a Ferrari, REPEAT NOT A FERRARI...but Ferrari's attorney's apparently think it looks so much like one that it upsets them. "
  22. '"2% dilution in the market" isn't there only about 37 real '62 GTO's? I'm sure there is a hell of a lot more replica's. ' Yep. I was counting all models which are for sale, those 37 real GTOs don't have to be advertised when they change owners, do they? Ferrari is especially concerned with Fiero-based 355s, Testarossas, and 308s. Anybody remember the Mera? It sold in Pontiac showrooms until Big F shut them down.
  23. Let me put my Pinin Farina hat on Maybe for a T-bucket or a Lead sled, but that style is a little too Victorian for a 60's GT.
