    haltech f7b?

You bought the motor I wanted!!!!! AHHHH!!!
  2. The design is all done, but hasn't been cut. The bungs would weld into the runners. The intake would be cut with 1.6" diameter ports, and that's with extra material for enlarging. Material could be either steel or aluminum, depending on if you have TIG or MIG access. I will not be making a large run of these pieces, like I did with the exhaust flanges. There is simply not enough interest. HOWEVER, we can do single flanges for those of you that want them.
  3. I saw this car in person and must say, its AMAZING!
  4. I just sold my Specialized Enduro FSR comp to pay for this dang car hobby!
  5. http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?p=701187 Check out my solution.
  6. Congratulations!!! It's aweful stuff, definitely. I just finished bodywork yesterday after 6 months...
  7. They are incredibly expensive, just let me machine it
  8. I'm so bored at work right now that being taken hostage doesn't sound like too bad of an idea.
  9. It has been almost 4 months and the appearance hasn't degraded a bit. The color is still deep, although the gloss did go down a little bit. That's actually a good thing, it's less distracting when driving.
  10. I'm not sure about the MSDS, but from personal experience there has been no odor at all. Even baking in the Houston sun, it hasn't been detectable by myself or passengers. Perhaps this is only the case with this particular brand.... In any case, it works great.
  11. I'm glad everyone likes the idea so much. Now I'm considering doing some fiberlgass work on the center console and having it sprayed too. Anyone else in houston want to have theirs sprayed at the same time? Things with my Z aren't too bad, although I desperately need to find someone who has the room to spray the paint for me. My garage is way too cramped...
  12. I don't really have a use for any of those parts. My ride is a 77 280z, n/a L28 which is basically stock. What else do you have?
  13. Still have 15 left. Definitely interested in some trades. What do you have?
  14. Changed domains, and just now got around to fixing all the pictures.
  15. I'm thinking it definitely needs to be 3 pc. That kills the low cost goal though. Hmmmm....
  16. The first step was to strip all the junk out of the front end. Second, actually find a grill that would fit. Anything larger then 39x10 will work nicely. I bought an Excursion grill off ebay. Another model that will work is the old school Blazer grill. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=012&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT&viewitem=&item=220094311890&rd=1,1 Simply trim the edges to fit, and bend the brackets to bolt to the original hardware. Another thing you have to do is use a 1" spacer with an extra long bolt to make the turn signals fit farther back in their brackets. This will allow the grill to sit flush against the face of both brackets.
  17. How do you plan on dealing with the airflow requirements? MAF, MAP? Rpm/TPS?
  18. Looks great Monzter! Definitely harder to machine, but it sure does look amazing. Actually I plan on using two injection rails as well. One for fuel, the other for water/methenol.
  19. Alright, construction has started. I machined the butterfly plates today at work. The ID of the runners is 32mm. This will give a total surface area of 4800mm vs. 2800mm when using a single 60mm tb. As soon as my aluminum stock gets here I'll machine the runners and flange.
  20. Good sir, that is crazy. I LOVE that console. *goes to workshop and looks at his aluminum sheet stock*
  21. I just unburied my stock wheel and horn. I'll take some measurements tonight and see what we can come up with.
