In Arizona it is the year of the car, they could car less about the motor.

This guys site has alot of info on all the UZFE's, turboed too. http://lextreme.com/
  3. A 17x9" will easily fit up front with coil overs. You might be able to do it with stock springs. There's more room in the front than in the rear. I got a 15x10" under my 71' with out flares. I would run wider than a 245 though.
  4. Don't be a cheap a$$ and fix the damn thing already. http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=104345
  5. 1st gen RX7's. GSLE's only, 680cc, top feed low imp. MKIV's are side feed. I think 3rd gen RX7's are too. You sure about Vipers running a 550. That's alot of fuel on a V10, enough for more than 900hp. It would be way overkill.
  6. It may have long runners but it pulls to 7K and has a pretty broad power band for an N/A motor. If that ugly a$$ manifold will fit under my hood I will use it. Just add a big turbo and look out. The Titan obviously has more torque due to displacement but quickly runs out of power up top, looks like a diesel dyno. VH45 Titan
  7. I would do a little more tunning then and still get a turbo first. I'm not at sea level but I would think if someone could run 10 psi and trap 115 mph, then 20 psi would more than make up for the altitude change. The turbo he is running (GT35R) would do more for you than any stroker kit would do for an L motor.
  8. Are you going to be able to find 4 lug wheels in the offset and width you want? You might want to look at your wheel options first. They will be VERY limited in the width you are talking about without going to 5 lug , 3 peice, or Volk.
  9. For a 17x9" or larger to fit in the rear without flares on with the stock thickness drum it would need to have a 24mm offset and you'd also need an 8" coil over. The less offset the furhter out it'll move it. An 18x9.5 would fit too, you would have more room on the strut to move it in but you would need to massage the inner body some as moving the offset out 12mm would cause quite a bit of rubbing with a 275. 0 offset on the front.
  10. Duration is good, close lober centers and overlap are bad. I run the A cam, more intake lift. Out of your 2 options I would run the P79 cam.
  11. 20 lbs and 111 mph isn't that good. IMO your money would be better spent on a turbo first. The stroker isn't going to be of much benift if the turbo can't move the air.
  12. If you are only running 110 mph I wouldn't bother. There are Supras and Vettes running 140+ with bars and IRS. If your car is neutral or understeers a little it will likely oversteer. You may not push your car hard if you are even thinking about rermoving it so that may not be a concern. Also weight will transfer to the rearregardless, even if you had no suspension. If you plan to make much more power you may end up with traction problem in second gear roles. If so I would get a softer compound tire. Falken azenis, Nitto Dr's, or RA-1's.
  13. Right, Z32's use 2. I did end up adding a BOV ( Greddy type R) on the 7M car. I had quite a bit of thrust bearing wear. They are 5 times as much as standard shaft thrust bearings.
  14. I went from 2" with a small IC to 2.5-2.75 with a big IC. Once spooled and the tubing is pessurized, piping size will not make a noticable difference in terms of lag. When are you wanting boost by?
  15. Measure the stock narrow band voltage. A bad sensor will keep the afr from staying around lamda. Should bounce around .4-.5v. I lost a wire on mine on the highway and was in the high 10's in cruise.
  16. Black smoke is from an overly rich mixture not lean. If you were lean enough for it to stumble you could also have intake backfire (pop). You went from being to rich and swapping an AFM to to lean and you now think it's the fuel pump? Why would the FP suddenly stop with the AFM swap? You can check the return line volume for flow.

    Phantom Grip LSD

That's some good power for 14 psi. Can you easily turn one wheel if the other is on the ground? I haven't checked the break away on my LSD but I can turn a wheel with a little effert.
  18. IMO the only thing that sounds worse than an open WG is a Harley. The power loss from rerouting it back into the exhaust is nothing, unless it's an all out, no comprosmises race car. If you have any knock you won't hear it either. I like my exhaust as quite as I can get it, I don't need officer A-hole hearing me before he sees me. It's still plenty loud when I get into it.
  19. Where 2.2 (PR) from the left intersects with 35 lbs/min. Of corse full boost isn't made at idle and flow is a product of boost and rpm. If 35 lbs was used at 6K rpm then 17lbs /min would be around 3200 rpm. The PR would be the same 2.2, as a small turbo like that would easily make full boost by then. So the line would curve up from a 1.0 PR and start around 5 lbs/min. Curving up torwards 2.2-17lbs and level off to 2.2-35 lbs .
  20. I bought all my aluminum tubing on Ebay. You can get mandrel bent peices too.
