  1. My apologies, I guess I assumed that any 'competent' builder checked those things........at least I do.......I plastiguage everything....... My last buildup was a high compression LS1 and we even had to fly-cut the pistons, thats how tight the tolerances are
  2. Any competent engine builder should be able to pull off the task..... a stroker kit is really no more difficult that a regular engine rebuild.......
  3. Might be a Z32, but its got the heart of a GTR
  4. Actually until the boost gauge gets power, she'll read vacuum..... I hear ya on the gas gauge, Yikes! You're correct on the shifter.........its got an entirely different drivetrain in it now.........details to follow after this weekend
  5. Stock Block, tomei head gasket, head studs, stock head Mileage unknown..... Been running around on a daily driven tune making ~540-550rwhp and beating on it daily with no issues
  6. I hear of alot of guys getting the copper spray and coating the HG before re-using it
  7. We've been up since the 6th Newly upgraded to phpbb3 Also, there is no more index page, just go straight to http://www.rbz32.com and it'll take you right into the forums
  8. I think you guys are failing to see how much BETTER the supra trans are than the nissan trans. I have had MANY nissan 5spd trans fail on me....... You will never see a stock style nissan trans going 8's like the supra guys do on theirs.....
  9. I figured it out totally last night. For some reason the #4 injector driver took a crap on the AEM. Fortunately the AEM has 10 injector outputs (so I have 4 spares) I took an old wiring harness, and yanked the pin and some extra wire out of it. I then put it into my RB26 harness, in the spot for the #7 injector output on the AEM. I then went into the injector configuration, turned injector 4 off, turned injector 7 on, and then corrected the injector phasing on inj 7 to match what #4 was.... Fired like a champ
  10. The igniter only sends signal for the coils, and in this case, I wasnt getting fuel to cylinder 4. Honestly I dont know what fixed the issue....I wish I did though!
  11. No problem, I got the car running tonight, dont really know what I did to fix it either...

  13. Stupid parts! The car DID drive like it had a slipping clutch.....only a minimal amount of available power....made sense at the time, never seen an output shaft break like that and still deliver some power to the other side
  14. Ok, just let me know, im looking to get it ASAP Thanks
  15. Guys My car WILL NOT fire on cyl 4, and I've troubleshooted just about every last thing I can think of. I see the injector pulsing on the AEM software, however the cylinder still isnt firing, and I have verified I have compression and spark. The CAS is what tells the AEM when to fire the injector and I'm wondering if my CAS is going bad, and telling the AEM to fire the injector at the wrong time. That being said, does anyone have an R32/R333 CAS that I could borrow for this test? Thanks
  16. I lost all my timeslips from last year, best I know was 11.5@125 on pump gas with radials that werent hooking.....
  17. Can you provide your email? Or alternatively here's mine, andy@booztd3.com We'll be in talks
  18. You would want the 87mm gasket.....
  19. Get ahold of me if you're interested in cometic stuff.....I have sold several sets to guys over in the UK, and can get them in about a week or so... Thanks
  20. Just buy a Z32 speed sensor and be done with it The speed sensor with the red gear is from the NA Z32s and is for the 4.10 rear end gear (r200) and the sensor with the blue gear is from the TT Z32s with the 3.72(3?) rear gear (r230)
