They haven't been done yet. Normally you would spray them first and then do the car. Im on a need to get it done scenario so i will have to mask every thing off and do it later. Not the best way to do it but its the way im having to do it. And for the price on every thing? If you just want material costs like all my primer fillers and sand paper and all that i would say i as around the 600-800 mark. i have all the receipts around here somewhere but i dont really care to add them up lol

what coil are you using? I had one go bad on me once and i was at a loss and couldnt figure it out. I got lucky and threw another coil on it and it fired right up.

Sorry I kinda came across as an ass. Sorry about that its just you didnt mention it and it kinda seemed like just one of those "Oh i broke something. What is it" threads where they dont even bother to try to figure it out for themselfs

I bought 3 quarts of paint and a gallon of clear with all the reducers and activators. That was more than enough to paint my car. I still need to paint my flares and jambs but i have probably around a quart left. And i only used about half my clear. I did 3 coats of each 3 paint, 3 clear Oh ya i spent around $300 for all of that. I think it was money well spent.

Its not really a secret its actually in a different thread. Ill tell ya it isnt Brickyard. And yes it is a lot nicer than my roll on job. Yes ill have alot of wet sanding to do but i think it will go alot better and the end results will be MUCH better. Its not perfect and my body work isnt perfect but ehh ill have to live with it for now.

Yeah I know i have alot of work ahead of me but still glad i got it done. It wont be a show car its just my DD. Yes the flares and fender mirrors are going to be painted body color. Yes Calgary280zt that is the same car that was painted in rustoleum. But i took the car down to metal so im not sure how much help i would be to ya unless you did the same. Yes that was an exhaust fan that honestly worked to well. When i completely closed up the booth it would suck the whole thing in. and that was with 4 huge filters on the back wall. So i had to keep the back wall open a bit so it would work and thats why i got so much debree on my paint. Wish i could of made it better but since a hurricane is going to come today i had to get it done. If your going to make one. A) only buy the really thick plastic thats 6mil i think. Make sure you put all your plastic on the outside of your frame. I tried to put some of it on the inside and then staple it and that didnt work. Oh well live and learn and then learn to never do your own body work lol. Also i used the Nason Base clear system. Its made by Dupont. Its just there lower paint and I could not have been happier spraying it. It went on very well I didnt get any runs in the paint or the clear and im not that experienced. I even got it on pretty thick once and i thought for sure it was going to run but it didnt.

When you open up megatune do you get a rpm signal?? If you do then your CAS should be working. If not then you found your culprit.

Well I got her painted today. Im decently pleased with how it came out considering its the first time ive shot a whole car. Well Is got a big of debree in it. So it needs a wetsand and buff really bad. But ill have to do that later after i move. Well let me know what you think.

Ok first of all SSAC has asked for NO down payment from anyone. They offered to pay half of the manifold that is being bought to copy. I did not ask them to pay for it. The plan is for them to copy the manifold and then they will send me the manifold they made for me to test fit everything. Then we will talk about deposits. They understand that this could fall through at any time and i think its very big of them to not want any deposits. Especially when they have put out money. ie. shipping costs and paying for half the manifold. They want to see the manifold before the quote us a price. Which i think is very reasonable. I am going to send them the file for the flange this week so they can model that up.

I dont think that it creates more down force but it puts the down force on the corner of the car that needs it. As you go around a corner your weight shifts to the outside corner. If your going around a left hand corner, your weight shifts to the right side of the car so it flattens out the right spoiler and lifts up the left one to help put the down force on the inside of the car to help keep the car flat.

What rear spoiler is that on the red one?

I heard that they had problems with them originally because they wherent braced properly. I mean they where hanging huge turbos of these things of course they are going to crack with out any bracing but i think that can be expected of all manifolds. They have since started bracing them and i know of alot of honda guys around town that run them and they haven't had any issues with them.

I will say that for vh1 it is a little low but if that was a independent film it would be considered funnier. but for vh1 it was just kinda cheesy

take 2 nuts put it on the stud and tighten them on to eachother. Then just get on the nut closest to the manifold and turn it out. Might have to heat it up. Also be soaking it in pb blaster before hand. Then run down to napa and get some studs that are 1/2inch longer than stock ones on the part that goes through the spacer.

Lol did you even think to jack the car up and look around? If something banging around more than likely you will be able to see it.

I actually left the paint on my door jambs when i did mine i did go in and scuff them up with some 80 grit sandpaper and then primmed them though. Guess it just depends on how picky your gonna be if you wanna go that far

Looks in pretty good shape. Change the premix, and i would also clean out the carb. It will be alot easier than the last one you did. There is probably alot of varnish in the bowl and on the jets. if you need some advice give me a call
