  1. I agree I went through hell with this a while back. I got lucky and found one post somewhere on here about it.
  2. Ok I have been fighting a missfire/breakup for the past couple weeks. Car runs great besides this break up. It will do it while cruising and while under boost but id say its more while under boost. I Have a few datalogs of when its doing it and ill attatch them. When it happens my RPM signal goes away and either my voltage spikes to like 17-18 volts or it drops to like 3-4 volts. Ive cleaned all my grounds and my battery terminals. Also on 3 different occasians my Firmware has been erased. All my maps and settings, everytthing No damage to the ecu i just have to reflash everything. My question is do you guys think my voltage regulator is going bad and causing the problem. Or do you guys think that my CAS is going out and causing my ms to mess up or something? IDK here are the data logs. On the data log it did it on record 132,163,412,418,428,4399,4453, datalog.zip
  3. There is a turbo'ed ls1 swapped PT cruiser Running around daytona beach. I believe it has a tubbed rear end It runs 13psi and i think is in the 11's maybe 10's
  4. Little off subject but can you use a NA cam core to lets say have isky grind a turbo grind onto it?
  5. Another thing to think about is the fact that the 280zxt uses the same 25 spline count. Why would Nissan go with a weaker part for a more powerful car?
  6. I cant believe nobody has stated this or at least I havent read it. Its a huge money saver!!!! its called..... LEAVING IT STOCK!!!!!!!!
  7. Also for moving the flange. i think it would be alot easier if you left the collector together and moved it closer using the runners. Like cutting and shortening the runners at the spots i have marked in red. Obviously it will be a little more difficult than that but it would be easier than reforming the collector.
  8. No they aren't not talking about selling it to another shop. They are just willing to sell it under a fictitious name so that no one would really have to know its a SSAC header. But we aren't worried about that. So we will just have SSAC sell us the header. Basically they are treating me as a business making a large purchase from them. I have asked them if i need to receive the money or of they can do that and they said it can be handled either way. I would just let them take care of the sales. So lets not worry about that part. We just need to make sure we have header that will fit.
  9. And Gabe. ABOUT DAMN TIME!!!!!!! lol looks good
  10. Gabe mounted them the same way as i did i believe. Here is a few pictures of how i did it. I absolutely love these seats they are way more comfortable then the stock ones. Im 6'1" and i sit with my seat back pretty straight up. And with the seat tilted all the way up I Fit with my helmet on and still have about 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch clearance. If I tilt the seat down i have about an 1" 1/2 -2" clearance. If you mounted them to the floor of the car they would be WAY to low. I wouldnt even be able to see over the steering wheel. lol
  11. well you just changed it. lol didnt it say aug 29th? 1974 datsun 260z Jeff Walter Ormond beach FL/Nashville TN
  12. i would post some pics of my car but its already past the dead line..
  13. Now those are some good numbers. Good job
  14. Ive trimmed my fender and air dam enough to where it barely rubs. its not a big deal to me.
  15. He is no stranger to turbo'ing Z's and cars in general. Do you even have a non turbo car Scott?
  16. I wasnt on there either!!! geez i feel left out lol. but cool video regardless
  17. Do you have a wiedband O2 sensor? if so you can go higher than 10psi. Just keep watching your afr's under boost. I think i ran mine up to 13-14psi on the stock injectors and stock fuel pressure. That was on a megasquirted stock engine with the stock t3 and injectors and a front mount.
  18. The stuff you mentioned your going to check really has nothing to do with the compression on cylinder 1. What you need to do is do a wet compression test. Take like 5cc's of oil and put it in each cylinder and then do a compression check. Also have you adjusted your valves correctly?
  19. Here is a picture of mine. Even though i already posted mine but its gone through a few changes. Its actually out at a photoshoot right now so ill get some high res. pictures up later
  20. Just put it in your profile. I just did mine. I ran a 12.837 at 110.37
  21. Yep thats exactly where mine is rubbing with with the same airdam. And ive cut mine also. the passenger side is worse than the drivers. Ill try to get pics but my camera is on the fritz.
  22. Id share but im just going to go beat it tonight. So ill probably add later tonight lol
  23. you need enough heat to melt the solder and you then suck out the solder. What are you worried about?
  24. http://www.radioshack.com/search/index.jsp?kw=desoldering+braid regular stranded wire wont work. you should be able to pick up the wick at any radio shack. If you want a more mechanical way. go with this http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2062731&cp=&sr=1&origkw=desoldering&kw=desoldering&parentPage=search
