  1. He is no stranger to turbo'ing Z's and cars in general. Do you even have a non turbo car Scott?
  2. I wasnt on there either!!! geez i feel left out lol. but cool video regardless
  3. Do you have a wiedband O2 sensor? if so you can go higher than 10psi. Just keep watching your afr's under boost. I think i ran mine up to 13-14psi on the stock injectors and stock fuel pressure. That was on a megasquirted stock engine with the stock t3 and injectors and a front mount.
  4. The stuff you mentioned your going to check really has nothing to do with the compression on cylinder 1. What you need to do is do a wet compression test. Take like 5cc's of oil and put it in each cylinder and then do a compression check. Also have you adjusted your valves correctly?
  5. Here is a picture of mine. Even though i already posted mine but its gone through a few changes. Its actually out at a photoshoot right now so ill get some high res. pictures up later
  6. Just put it in your profile. I just did mine. I ran a 12.837 at 110.37
  7. Yep thats exactly where mine is rubbing with with the same airdam. And ive cut mine also. the passenger side is worse than the drivers. Ill try to get pics but my camera is on the fritz.
  8. Id share but im just going to go beat it tonight. So ill probably add later tonight lol
  9. you need enough heat to melt the solder and you then suck out the solder. What are you worried about?
  10. http://www.radioshack.com/search/index.jsp?kw=desoldering+braid regular stranded wire wont work. you should be able to pick up the wick at any radio shack. If you want a more mechanical way. go with this http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2062731&cp=&sr=1&origkw=desoldering&kw=desoldering&parentPage=search
  11. So why not unsolder it and solder it in the correct way? Just get some solder wick(braided copper wire) Its only 16 pins
  12. Are you saying you soldered the DB37 backwards? like the one for the stim you put on the ecu. and the one for the ecu on the stim?
  13. DID what backwards? what number? Like the u3 or d2 or r3 number?
  14. More details please. what board? the stim board or the ecu? you mention the "stim ecu" I know the stim board and i know the v3.0 main board. But there isnt a ecu on the stim.
  15. Im sorry but i read what you did and im not understanding. Slow down a bit and explain what happened completely
  16. Hey jgkurz could you take the manifold and put the head flange on a table and measure how far the flange is from the table? and from the front of the header flange and rear and the distance from the top of the header flange to the top of the turbo flange
  17. Just a few pictures of how much bigger the holset is. The only thing i have seen that might make this ok is the fact that the holsets have a much shorter run from the turbo flange to the turbo. if that makes sense. So from the turbo flange to the center of the turbo isnt nearly as long
  18. OK so as i stated in the other thread Im going back to the orlando drag strip this wed. If you can come you should stop by. It will be the last time for me as im moving away to nashville this weekend. So stop by say hi. I think Scottie-gnz is running also or is at least planning on it.
  19. cool idea but a little to ricer for me.
  20. try this linkhttp://s362.photobucket.com/albums/oo64/jgkurz/L6%20Turbo%20Header/S30_L6%20Header/
  21. NVM. But do you think you could measure the distance between the flange and the inner fender? cause that is looking REALLY tight
  22. hey thanks but Im not sure you got the pictures got loaded up.
  23. I have the 50mm bov and i absolutely love it. I got it from Siliconeintakes.com but its the same unit. even comes in the same box. people mistake it for the real deal at first glance. when i get my tubular manifold made i will be getting the wastegate as well
  24. honestly i think it will work either way. If you could get pictures even with a stock t3 that would be great. just take a tape measure to measure the clearances.
