  1. I think you are partly doing it because. "YOU CAN" Ive seen his work and i must say its top of the line. It will look like it came from the factory when he is done..
  2. lol This group buy shouldnt be a problem. considering we have like 18 people who are interested already. Sure its depending on price and design for a few but i think that all can be worked out. Still havent heard back from SSAC. ill let every one know what i find out. should i start another thread on what we are wanting in the manifold? Cause i havent gotten any input on that yet. Ill keep every one informed
  3. LOL i had to check to see if it was mine or not. I pretty bad at it. Im really trying to get better though.
  4. in megalog viewer pull up your battery voltage in one of the graphs. if it drops below 9v ever its resetting
  5. whats your battery voltage? sounds like your ecu reset
  6. AWSOME!!!!! im stoked ive been wondering what was going to happen Thanks a million
  7. I agree but if you look at the manifolds they sell i would say that they make a decently well designed manifold.
  8. very cool pic. but to me if you where sliding. wouldnt you be steering into it? your tires are pointing all the same through out the whole thing...
  9. here is the t3/t4 flange may not be ideal but it might work. If we have to choose i would say go with a T3 i think more of us are using that flange http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/OBX-T3-T4-Turbo-Manifold-Inlet-Weld-Flange-1-2-Thick_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ33742QQihZ024QQitemZ370043081004QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWDVW
  10. All right i think we should convert this thread into more of what we want in this manifold. I am not all that experienced in the external waste gate so input on that will be needed. As far as the flange goes i think that the majority of the people are running the T3 flange. There is the posibility that maybe they have those T3/T4 flanges that i have seen on ebay. This would suffice both needs. Also would it be in our best interest to move the location of the turbo? like say an inch out or something so no spacers would be needed for any turbo? Alright lets get what we want in this manifold buttoned up so we can get it on the way.
  11. Jeff Ive never done it but i think ill take a shot at it. I just e-mailed them and im waiting on a reply. i asked about price and asked him to walk me through the process more.
  12. I dont go there either and thats why. This forum expects its members to search to find the information that is already been covered many times. If someone doesnt have enough desire to find the info he wants that he cant press the search button. Then why should we go out of our way to spoon feed him the answer. I have been noticing that its becoming more and more of a trend for people not to search. More and more posts are regarding to basic simple stuff that can be found in the archives rather easily. All right im done. My thing is simply "Help yourself"
  13. So we should spoon feed every body simple little questions? If thats the case then why not just merge this site with zcar?
  14. I have a feeling we would be on our own for the dp still. there is just so many of us using different turbos that it wouldnt work out.
  15. SEARCH!!! its been covered many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many times..
  16. its a good kit ive used one from there its in my turbo. Its just weather your turbo is rebuildable yourself. if the shaft has any maring on it it needs to be turned down and have undersized bearings installed. and then that costs more.
  17. if the turbo is locked up it might be to much for a diy rebuild. ill sell ya my turbo for 100 plus shipping. and i know its good. only took it off to put the holset on
  18. Easiest way would be to get an after market ecu to properly adjust the fuel. You could probably rig something up with a rising rate FPR and run your psi really really low off boost. but that would not be the best way in my opinion
  19. I also know a guy that makes beautiful turbo manifolds for mustangs that is like 2 blocks from me. i could contact him and see if he would be interested in it also. Is there a source for stainless steel exhaust flanges????
  20. Did they say what the price would be around??? And i could possible do it.
  21. Very impressive. Crazy Koreans huh??
  22. Its not stainless. so there is your start in price savings.
  23. id bet its the distributor cap that made it after fire that bad.. good job. I am going to try and make it to the drag strip next wed. wanna meet up?
