  2. Wasnt planning on running a external. at least not for now. I had the wastegate bored out from 22mm to 29mm and the puck is 32mm. It seems to work for bigphil so far. My only problem with running the 4inch v-band is when i look on this site.http://www.siliconeintakes.com/product_info.php?cPath=10&products_id=326&osCsid=cc2d99e2473d7fc21158195539113a6d it says that the outer diamater of the flange is 4.09" thats like a .4" difference. isnt that to much??
  3. Yeah the whale tail is the way to go. the old spoiler kinda looks like an after thought. Where the new one actually flows with the body line. and keeps the sleekness of it consistant
  4. Well as some of you know i bought a Holset HE351CW off of a 05 dodge. Now it did not come with the exhaust elbow or v-band clamp. Now i wouldnt think this would be a big deal but i cant figure out what size i need. Im posting some pics of it with a tape measure measuring the outlet and then just a picture of my ported wastegate. Any info you could give me would be great. I know some of you say to use a 4" v-band clamp but i dont see how that would work since it is closer to 4.5"
  5. i didnt use spacers on my bolts when i did my swap into a 3.54 out of a 82zxt its been in my car for a month or so now and been down the track probably 10 times and still no issues.
  6. t3- 2" zxt afm-3.2 in and out. and stock tb fits fine with a 2.25 silicone coupler just fine. and no you can not shrink 2.25 silicone coupler to 2inches lol and yeah go ahead and lube up all your intercooler piping.. you will have fun blowing your intercooler piping all the time.

Would it benefit from having the divider welded into place? If you would be interested in some more measurements I will be be getting this on Tuesday.
  8. try setting up your tps. When you have megatune open. click on tools and then click on calibrate tps. Then with your throttle closed click the get current. on the closed setting. next hold your throttle wide open click the get current on the wot setting.
  9. Glad to hear that they are standing behind the work. Its always worrisome taking back something like that and asking them to fix it. Then not knowing if they will stand behind the work.

  13. Your stock front diff mount is fine they are the same. What do you mean when you say side stubs? Do you mean the ones that snap into the diff? If so you do not need them. Hopefully you have the TURBO CV's from a z31. Those should snap right into your diff i believe.
  14. Yeah i was having a spark missfire under boost and tried switching coils and it didnt get ride of it. So I tried putting a MSD 6L on and its worked flawlessly every since.

  16. I would just like to say how amazingly fast this project has come to be. I just checked the first post on this thread and it was November 27th of last year. so basically 4 months later you are in the milling process and are making the final piece. its just amazes me. Thats all i have to say..amazing work Monzter

  20. Havent bolted it up yet. Im gathering all the pieces to put her on. I have another line on a good used he351cw if you or anybody else is interested. im not sure about price but it should be below 500 for sure.
  21. i was just looking at what you have for your turbo build. and i noticed you have a holset HX30w. I hate to tell ya but if you hope to make any thing over 200 hp your gonna want a bigger turbo. i have a holset hx30w on my car right now and it is way undersized. at DNI i was pushing around 19psi and i only got a 13.679 with a trap time of 98mph which when i plugged into a hp calculator and it gave me like 198 hp. It spools quickly like 2400rpm in 4th but it runs out of air by like 3500/4000rpm. i would rather run the stock t3 rather than a holser hx30w. sorry its off topic but i just thought i would warn ya.
  22. Absolutely!! i need to pick up those ZG flares from ya also. i might have a line on a 240sx dash in orlando also that i need to go look at. I am going to take my time on this install for once and make sure i have all the pieces to do it before i go at it. because my car runs right now for once and i hate waiting on parts when my car is apart. so it might be a couple weeks till i get her together. But when i do i really want to take her to OSW and see what she will do.
