  2. I have to say you are no where near done spending money on turbo stuff. because you see you are about to get a tast of boost, which is addicting and your gonna want more boost than what that tiny little t3 can produce.. thats the phase im in right now UPGRADE PHASE!!!!
  3. i say vacume bag carbon onto the board but have a release film on it so you just have a pure carbon lip
  4. I know. Thats why i said carrier also. Unbolt the whole electric sending unit. Take it out and throw it away or what ever you want to do with it. Take your Z's speedo carrier and cog with the appropriate cog in it and stick it in the hole! you might have to cut a new retaining slot in the carrier that is 180deg. from the original slot. This is because the sx tranny has the retaining bolt 180deg. from where it is on the z tranny.
  5. Why not go dry sump and kill 2 birds with one stone? One you would get rid of the problem of it being a front sump. and 2 it would cut the height down and possibly make it work with a stock hook.
  6. you can get the z transmission speedo cog and carrier to be in the sx tranny. and then it will work fine.

  9. Wasnt planning on running a external. at least not for now. I had the wastegate bored out from 22mm to 29mm and the puck is 32mm. It seems to work for bigphil so far. My only problem with running the 4inch v-band is when i look on this site.http://www.siliconeintakes.com/product_info.php?cPath=10&products_id=326&osCsid=cc2d99e2473d7fc21158195539113a6d it says that the outer diamater of the flange is 4.09" thats like a .4" difference. isnt that to much??
  10. Yeah the whale tail is the way to go. the old spoiler kinda looks like an after thought. Where the new one actually flows with the body line. and keeps the sleekness of it consistant
  11. Well as some of you know i bought a Holset HE351CW off of a 05 dodge. Now it did not come with the exhaust elbow or v-band clamp. Now i wouldnt think this would be a big deal but i cant figure out what size i need. Im posting some pics of it with a tape measure measuring the outlet and then just a picture of my ported wastegate. Any info you could give me would be great. I know some of you say to use a 4" v-band clamp but i dont see how that would work since it is closer to 4.5"
  12. i didnt use spacers on my bolts when i did my swap into a 3.54 out of a 82zxt its been in my car for a month or so now and been down the track probably 10 times and still no issues.
  13. t3- 2" zxt afm-3.2 in and out. and stock tb fits fine with a 2.25 silicone coupler just fine. and no you can not shrink 2.25 silicone coupler to 2inches lol and yeah go ahead and lube up all your intercooler piping.. you will have fun blowing your intercooler piping all the time.

Would it benefit from having the divider welded into place? If you would be interested in some more measurements I will be be getting this on Tuesday.
  15. try setting up your tps. When you have megatune open. click on tools and then click on calibrate tps. Then with your throttle closed click the get current. on the closed setting. next hold your throttle wide open click the get current on the wot setting.
  16. Glad to hear that they are standing behind the work. Its always worrisome taking back something like that and asking them to fix it. Then not knowing if they will stand behind the work.

  18. lol slide hammer on a plastic bumper?? lol Best bet is to go to your local body shop and ask what they sugest for filling in the gouges. and then just repaint it.

  20. Your stock front diff mount is fine they are the same. What do you mean when you say side stubs? Do you mean the ones that snap into the diff? If so you do not need them. Hopefully you have the TURBO CV's from a z31. Those should snap right into your diff i believe.
  21. Yeah i was having a spark missfire under boost and tried switching coils and it didnt get ride of it. So I tried putting a MSD 6L on and its worked flawlessly every since.
