  1. Im running 13-14psi right now and im planning on upping it to around 16 tomorrow. and see how that goes. i really need to do some ducting to my intercooler though im getting some heat soak and my intake temps are getting into the 150's and 160's by the time i hit redline in 4th gear..
  2. thanks. I was curious because i have basically the same set up. Well stock engine but you can see my specs below. what injectors are you running?
  3. Get the zuma. Get the bore and stroke kit for it to like something like 82cc slap an aftermarket expansion chamber on it from vance and hines, along with an after market cdi box that will raise the rev limiter to like 13k and you have a moped that goes 85ish mph and still gets like 75-80mpg and it can pull wheelies
  4. cool video. But how in the world do you keep things straight working with that many people lol. looked like you had 4 guys on that engine bay at one point. That would drive me nuts. LOL I would have to double check every bodies work so it would end up taking longer than if i did it myself. lol
  5. Looks good but i was curious about the defrost function. Im wanting to swap in the whole dash with the heater/A/c intact. i havent seen anybody do that one yet. Any thoughts?
  6. Looks good but i have one suggestion. Make your radiator hose go around your intercooler piping instead of the intercooler piping going around your raciator hose. Looks like you have about an extra 1.5 feet of tubing due to that bend there. I also think it would clean the look up some..
  7. motorcycle carbs are easy to balance. you just need to have two sets of mercury sticks so you have enough but other than that it would be easy. you have to balance motorcycles all the time. and they ahve had 6 cylinder motorcycles actually i think honda had an inline 6 cyl. turbo actually..
  8. Cool, My he351cw is smoking and i am gonna throw a rebuild kit into it.
  9. Hey 78280z hows the planning coming? I dont know if we ever came up with a primary size. I think the size you said would work well. Tony said that was the smallest restriction on the Euro manifold but that is on a log style. where more than one exhaust port is going through that passage. I think that if they all have there own passage that the size will allow more than enough flow for any of our pipe dreams.
  10. have you given any more thought on to what your going to do ti keep this one together??
  11. i have seen many of the there manifolds and they are beautiful. at first they where cracking when they wherent braced. But they have since then started bracing the manifolds and they havent had a problem since.
  12. from what i have measured before i think we could move the flange about an inch closer to the fender well and probably forward about inch and still be ok. This would give us alot more room also i believe. Does someone have an extra manifold laying around to where they can get the measurements? my extra one is at SSAC
  13. have you adjusted the throttle stop that is behind the throttle peddle to allow it to move farther?
  14. yes. it does. it sounds like you have your power source hooked up to somewhere that doesnt get power during cranking. I would try moving the switched power or at least make sure it is on while cranking...
  15. Hey 78280z id just like to say thank you for taking point on the design of the manifold. Looks like your doing awesome so far. Ill keep things going on my end and i hope we can get this going soon.
  16. what head gasket and what was the compression ratio?
  17. id probably say we should go with the one piece. my reason is that gives them one less thing that can be out of alignments.
  18. do you have a good throttle return spring on it? i found when i had a lite spring on it or i forgot to put one on it was to easy to push the throttle and made it really touchy. but then i put a stiffer spring on and it went away.
  19. that was impressive to say the least. makes me want to fine tune my driving skills
  20. It was a stock usdm exhaust manifold. i bought it off of someone on here and then ssac sent a call tag for it to save me shipping. It sounds like we are starting to get somewhere now. Lets keep it going!!!!! Jeff
  21. If all your wanting to run is 12 psi i would just stick with the stock t3 not saying there wouldnt be benifits from running a bigger turbo just that i dont believe the cost of upgrading is going to be worth the hassle. i was running my t3 at 12psi on the stock efi for 6 months and then at 14psi with MS&S for like 3 months. and it had no issues what so ever with the turbo. i did have a starion intercooler and a bov though. so i would just save your money and put it towards something more useful. Like a good 3 inch exhaust.
  22. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/NXS-MANUAL-BOOST-CONTROLLER-300ZX-GSX-GST-STI-RX7-MBC_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ33742QQihZ016QQitemZ260244366200QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWDVW I have one of these was the cheapest i could find on the net. i got it and it actualy works great. dont have any issues with boost spikes or anything.
  23. i say what ever type of bike will keep you interested and keep you riding.
  24. allright so if we are going to make our own manifold where does that put us? i dont have the capabilities to design one. so im gonna need help.
