  1. I found some info using a revolutionary concept called "search". Sorry about posting first, I was in a hurry and stupid. I think I know what to do know. Jeff
  2. Not sure if this should be in drivetrain or here but since it is a convesion related issue, I'll try here. I get some drivetrain vibration so I checked my angles and the nose of my diff seems to be pointed up too much relative to the rest of the setup. How can I change the angle of it? Drop the nose? Raise the back? How??? Thanks Jeff
  3. Thanks guys, I had already dissasembled and inspected the main switch and the high beam switch and both were in tact. It turned out to be a mildly corroded fusible link connection. I pulled them all off and put them back on and she shines again. Thanks for your input Jeff
  4. you sure your idle circuit in your carb didn't just get gummed up from sitting? Maybe that cowl hood is the problem, I'll come by and pick it up.
  5. 76 280, headlights quit working, can't figure out. Headlights are good, fuses are good, switch test ok with meter, voltage to switch, voltage to dimmer switch. Is there a relay somewhere? I can't find it in the schematic. Never has something so simple kicked my rear so bad! Thanks Jeff
  6. I've aquired a used coil-over set minus the springs. I believe they are Ross' or very similiar. Anybody got a set of springs they don't need? I'm thinking I need between 225 and 275 lb 10 inch springs. Thanks Jeff
  7. All my vinyl is good, all I need is to replace the original stuff. Is the Vict British stuff any good? What is better, Pile or loop?
  8. How about the victoria Brit folks? They have varius kits but are they any good? My wife wants to fix my interior for Christmas!!!
  9. Let me know if you need some help, I have access to a low-boy trailer that I have hauled quite a few cars on. The car could stay at my house for short term but I wouldn't want it to be there for 6 months or anything like that. I'm off this weekend if you are coming down.
  10. I'll store it for you for a small fee payable in powder coatings! You better hurry, my sleeper is gaining hp every month you waste. With the new heads, it is beggin for a nasty cam. Is the motor in Austin or Houston? Hickl
  11. Way to go home boy! It's about time you got of your rear and showed a little focus. I was about to give up on you.
  12. Chris Turbo as I call him had around 300 rwh with his old setup and has gone much bigger with his new setup which has not been tested yet. I forget his name but someone on here just broke into the 10's with a turbo L6. I would think that is in the 400hp+ range right? If you are very talented and have access to all the stuff you need, a 350 swap will probably cost you at least $2500 by the time you get a decent tranny, exhaust system etc. Hope this helps.
  13. I see a friday night in Baytown brewing up! Chris should be ready to go soon, I'm ready, On3 is ready and now Vann is rolling.
  14. cool, the 3310, is that a double pumper or not. Is a double pumper necessary in my application? I hear they are harder to tune so if I won;t benifit from it, I don't want any extra hassle.
  15. cmon guys only one opnion? I need to make a decision here and welcome any input. Do I even need a 750 or would a 650 work just fine?
  16. oct 10th, is that at the Horse track? Baytown is hosting the NOPI event that day.
  17. I just put a set of sportsman II small chamber heads on my motor (sbc, flat top pistons, medium cam, performer intake, block hugger headers etc. and My Holley 600 just ain't feedin the need anymore. I'm figuring a 750 would probably do the trick but request guidance. What carb would you guys recommend for me and does anybody have one for sale????
  18. I went ahead and put it together as is, wasn't that bad. Hey Sleeper, when can I get that cowl hood from you! With the heads, I need a taller intake for some flow. If you ever decide to sell it let me know. Jeff
  19. Actual volume, the header pipe is probably equal or bigger, but where the round meets the square, the corners will see bit of a shoulder
  20. I bought me a set of Dart II heads and plan to bolt on this weekend. I was looking at the heads and the exaust ports are pretty square. By headers and brass header gaskets are round and thus will have a "lip" at the 4 corners as the air exits the head. Is this pretty typical? Will it have a big impact on airflow/hp? Seems like it would be a major restriction.
  21. Do you want to sell the JTR camaro radiator? I'm just north of houston.
  22. Too late guys, I already put it back together
  23. Yeah. Hey Ed, why don't you and your chronies come out tonight and help me put my differential back in! I'll drink beer and supervise while you young bucks fling wrenches
  24. I have a couple of times but not usually
  25. pulled the pumpkin last night and found that the little roll pin had sheared that holds the larger pin in place in the spider gear assy. I guess that would make some noise Yes Myron, you were right.
