1/4 20 wing bolt and some flat bar stock you can make your own and mount it on the roll bar. The gopro cameras mount is mainly good for the very light gopro camera.

Ok, my gopro camera is officially a money pit. Total cost so far. free---- gopro camera $5-------fix old mount with bolts and suction cups from harbor freight. $4-------cig lighter usb adapter $26------usb data cable from usb adapter to camera $0-------drill camera case to accept the usb data cable total-- $35 Now I'm going to have to buy a bigger sd card

Tony, it sounds like the front hub nut was hammered and and a cotter pin put on. I wonder how long that would have lasted as a daily/hourly driver.

$300?, that isn't too bad. I'm sure the price could go down joining a club that has regular track events there. Our new track in Colorado is $150 full day and $90 for half day during the summer hours open lapping days. There are 3 go kart places i know of in the area. Centennial by the airport/broncos, bandimere and IMI near colorado national speedway. Did you find a go kart yet?

I have the 5mp standard definition gopro. I don't have the cables but it worked just hooking up the card to the computer. I'm sure the HD units are different. What I would like to do is set it up to run on the lighter. I have a universal converter, but have yet to research to try and make it work.

Is that just an HD problem? Both of my computers worked with just the card, a macbook and pc.
