  1. I have the ($40) HF engine stand and it works fine for an L6 engine. If you want to save more check out your local Craiglist ads.
  2. Look for the block number on the block just in front of the Trans bell housing on the drivers side. Then run the number on google, you should be able to find out.
  3. Contact Art Singer of SportZ magazine to check it out. Then if you buy it have it shipped. $1,400 can add up real fast when adding food, fuel and hotel costs alone. I know it sounds adventurous to jump in it and go, and agree it would be great if you had no problems. I think I would rather have a car delivered so I could open it like a new present rather than getting it home and hating it cause it let me stranded 5 times during a recent long haul.
  4. You are getting close. I have been in your position and it seems as though it will never end. Remember you have years of work into the car don't let the last few days get you down.
  5. I only have drivers side headlight bucket but I have cool hoods. http://www.hammondsplains.com/z/zworld/280zone/index.htm
  6. Or just drop me an email. http://www.hammondsplains.com/z/zworld/280zone/index.htm
  7. Glad to hear you got it dialed in. Tire spin has also been my most problematic area. The sticky track will help some and you can treat the tires too for a bit more bite. The next Firebird night is April 13th. Hopefully I can make that date as well.
  8. Much easier to just buy my hood and be done with the fabrication issue.
  9. When will you kids listen. So am I going to get my ride soon?
  10. I'll give you $1,000 for it to rid you of this impending headache. The 75 is rather unique and does not require a smog pump, since it never had one. You really need to talk them into looking up your specific make and model and they will find this to be true. I have had these "discussions" several times along with the "why is my gas tank inlet so large?", Where is the cat? etc. again when the whole emissions world is coming down on you my offer will still stand. : ) I am not real fond of red ashtrays but I can make an exception.
  11. As said, well excecuted! and great ending! Also in line for a center console.
  12. What are you building? I have a few contacts as well.
  13. I am right down the street and have several. Just drop me an email.
  14. Shameless plug but my hood clears my carb and airfilter so much I think I am going to need a carb spacer. http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=101130
  15. I also have one for trail fitting for my 280's. I have pondered reworking it to fit the 280's and then having molds made. If I had ten people interested I can probably make it happen.
  16. The 240 & 260 front valance is a bit different shape than the 280Z.
  17. It is a pretty stolen idea already. http://www.desertzassociation.com/membersrides/Robert/75z/pic/pic9.jpg The nuts are refered to as speed nuts, they can be had at any local checker or autozone usually in the HELP section
  18. I came across this out on necessity one day too and found they work great. I wasn't sure a Harbor Freight dolly I got for $14 would hold but I have had one on mine for awhile and shuttle it around from time to time with no problems.
  19. I have something like those on my car and just used the stock studs and backing plate. I you don't have those I'd use the adhesive method.
  20. I have a couple on my cars. Fit is pretty good. Mine in the photo is a bit modified. http://www.desertzassociation.com/membersrides/Robert/75z/pic/pic1.jpg http://www.desertzassociation.com/membersrides/Robert/75z/pic/pic9.jpg
  21. Looking for the phone number of the local Police Department.
