  1. I have run spacers with no problems, I also have a set of Centerline wheels, that don't need spacers, but you have to like a little bling to go that route. I'd suggest shopping Centerlinewheels.com and look for their discount page. Last time I checked they had even more than before and they are very easy to deal with just call the number specifically designated on the discount wheel page, you get a live person that is very helpful.
  2. I knew there was a reason I left Colorado!
  3. LOL, I can probably beat Danny's Datsun prices too. SSFlyer, I am trying to liquidate, I have to since the airport space fell through!
  4. but where did you get the aluminum bung?
  5. I think I have both buckets and both fenders. Shoot me an email and I will check.
  6. It really depends on who it is made by. Is it fiberglass fneders and a hood? Or is it all one piece? Fiberglass is nice to work with since you are only limted by your imagination, but get ready to itch! It does take some practice but it is easy to grind things off and start over. I have some limited experience so feel free to contact me directly if needed.
  7. I have seen a few Z cars go through here at BJ. I'll keep an eye out for it when I get there.
  8. Uhaul figures it for you. They ask you what car you are using for towing and what car you are towing and they will look it up and decide for you. It is really a comparrison between the two vehicles. My truck has a "towing capacity" of 5000 lbs but they would not rent me a car dolly to tow a Z due to the weight of my truck.
  9. Seann, Thanks for the feedback. Remember the more hoods I can sell the more I can develop other parts. I have a couple of projects in the works but not sure if there is a market. I am also open to future suggestions. I know I can provide a quality product at competitive prices, but would prefer to steer clear of any products produced by others.
  10. I found this to be very helpful http://www.graytechsoftware.com/garage/tbs_linkage.asp
  11. No problem copying my idea, I pretty much stole it from Ford : ) The modification was not difficult but I am sure it is all realative. I like working with fiberglass since about the only limit is your imagination. If you haven't worked with it before start with something easy and practice on something cheap. If possible find someone that specializes in that type of work and see if they will allow you to watch/help. IMO it is difficult to learn it from a book and years of experience really helps the learning curve. At best I am probably still a novice but I know my limits and know when to ask for help. I am lucky and know an expert fabricator that took the time to explain a lot to me. The bottom line from me is go for it! If it doesn't work the first few times grind it off and try again.
  12. Darn I got busted.....My car is a mix of styling cues from several popular cars.
  13. I can set you up with a hood. http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=101130
  14. Yes, it was a broken MSA II air dam. Of course the car looks better with the grille and my new SS hood.
  15. No noticeable difference until sharp turns. Regular street driving would be no problem, you will never know they were changed.
  16. I have a set, and am in Arizona
  17. I also just took the plunge. If this doesn't get my car running I am going to have 2 V8 cars!
  18. I'm with Chewie, though it looks weird it might be normal. It doesn't look broke.
  19. http://www.arizonazcar.com/diffmount.html being lazy and not want to go climb under my car right now.
  20. On a 75 the valve cover will say Nissan OHC, I dont know of any valve covers that said Datsun. Since the car is 30 years old it is hard to say what year engine you might have, Check the block for a number and the head. You can read all about turbo'ing a car by searching through the posts here. Welcome aboard.
