  1. I'd have to pick Ruby and I not fond or red cars.
  2. It looks like a poor copy of the Jim Cook widebody kit but custom. I would be very concerned about the amount of bondo that is hiding on that car.
  3. Just out of curiosity I checked out thier prices....you paid $500 plus shipping for that? My SS style hood with the inner liner shipped to your door is my price.
  4. No way would I ship a hood looking like that! Mine does require trimming of the upright portion of the core support. Those corners are terrible, and you will be needing to put some work into that to make it work.
  5. Must be a dealer or previous owner install.
  6. I have some old school ski rack hatch mounts for the Z car you might be able to make work.
  7. or add a carb spacer and go ram air. http://www.hammondsplains.com/z/zworld/280zone/index.htm
  8. Post the day and time on DesertZAssociation.com and I am sure you will have some takers.
  9. They are moving to a new server. Scheduled to be back up this weekend.
  10. Yes, Justin has purchased one. The weight is around 20lbs, which is about half of a stock hood. If you go with a thinner material it will flex and be harder to get a good finish.
  11. I can probably get mine to you for a lower total cost. http://www.hammondsplains.com/z/zworld/280zone/index.htm
  12. Why is it noob's always want to "contribute" to changing the site layout?
  13. I think that is the size I have and they needed a little spacing to make them work. I used foam tape (like used for camper shells) and then black siliconne on the back. It is much easier with the dash out of the car though.
  14. Let me know if you need assistance.
  15. Typical shop space here runs about $1 per foot per month to rent, so at that rate you would be paying that much after just 5 years. Obviously cheaper to build your own if you have the land but in a world of subdivisions and Home owners associations it might not be such a bad deal.
  16. I have some original fiche sets if interested, but as mentioned you will need a fiche reader.
  17. DRTY, what year do you need? I have some 260 and 280's
  18. What do I have to donate to make it go away? If I have a radiator question I don't need to see radiator ads, I know where to get them. Google came looking cause the information they glean from this new exposure is valuable to them, not so much for us.
  19. I would re-install the thermostat but look for a high flow. I thought it might be a good idea to remove one once (Phoenix AZ easily over 100* quite often here) it only over heated. I have seen a significant benefit to using the high flow model however.
  20. I have one of those emblems from my old truck, too bad i cut off the red and blue panels. I just can't leave anything alone.
  21. Not one of a kind, it is a Jim Cook racing body kit. There is a red one for sale here too.
  22. Has it really been 7 years? I can still play your videos over in my mind. The car looks amazing and hope to see more photos along with new videos. On a side note, can I interest you in a really cool hood?
