  1. just "adjust" the oil pan to give you the clearence by cutting it or using a hammer to give you the clearence you need

  3. can anyone post some pics of a 4.6 in a z? i would like to see the clearence issue everyone is talking about, because i am setting up for a mod motor and now i am getting scared of the install!!!
  4. check all the connections under the hood and make sure they are clean brite ans shiney if not ... clean them the FI on these cars depends on clean and good tight connections. if that doesent solve your problems then serch for the FI Bible and then check you sensors. any other questions can be found through the serch on this site if no answers then we will give you all the help we can!   6. i think he meant an OIL COOLER easy fix, just plumb one into the oil filter connection with a kit. and for 2500 not to bad if it is not too bad on the rust side

  8. the only difference between the 240 and 280 doors it the type of window regulator and the 2 piece door pull + the location of the armrest bolt holes are in a slightly different location and angle

  11. use an angle tip and put it out to the side from the stock location like a jaguar
  12. as for the caustic soda bath you can make your own hot tank usint a plastic water barrel add 20 gallons of water and use 5 cups of caustic soda or lye and then suspend your tank in it for a couple of days yourself, just wanting to help you guys out with the possibility of makeing your own hot tank for part cleaning just remember not to put any soft(read non ferrous) metals in it!
  13. use a soldering iron to heat the little wire sticking out in the side of the hose next to the injector body at the bottom of the hose then carefully pull the hose off while heating it. it is in the haynes manual, so you can double check my info on this
  14. he is referring to adding the sump to the stock tank it is a really simple thing to have done to you tank just check with some shops in the area and ask them about it

  16. well it is back to the drawing board, i pulled my plugs and found some white and black crust on the plugs 1 3456, 2 was oil fouled with the crust too. hmm i am going to pull this and figure out what went wrong but i need some cash first. i am trying to get this car running for the msa show next year. hope to see you all there in the springof 08
  17. I understand what what you are talking about. i just thought it looked really cool and i would put it on mine , now i dont know. I will continue the development of it with Bartmerr and we will see if all works out the way we are hoping it does. thank you for your valuable input fellas, I really appreciate it! ps also we were developing a way to extract the underhood air from the sides of the car using gills in the fenders. we are still workinf on this project and it is for a project street car
