  3. WAIT! More info! It's only the front and rear lights, not the side markers, so the turn signals I guess. If I turn the hazards ON, the lights go off and the turn signals work. Gotta be tied to that switch?
  4. After a drive today I parked my 75 280 this afternoon and got out to see the parking lights were still one. I swore I turned them off and gave a double check only to see the stalk was indeed OFF. I messed around with the switch (off, on, off, on) and tried the turn signals and got nothing. I had to disconnect the battery to to turn off the lights. Any ideas? Thanks.
  5. In case it sells and he takes down the ad Datsun 240 z serial number 201 - $8000 (Eldon/ lake area) One of the lowest serial number 240zs in the world. Built in 1969 making it in about the bottom 50 lowest serial numbered cars in the world! It needs full restoration but I have many new parts and half of the rust restoration completed ( engine compartment area is done and primered) I even have replacement quarterpanels new and the hatch jam area Nissan panel new. I also have new interior door panels and a headliner. I also have all the hardware replated. The SU carburetors are totally rebuild and replated so look like new. ( they alone sell for $1500 on eBay) I even have the 4 original tires, hubcaps and the stock wheels! also comes with a roticiry to spin the whole car upside-down an extra motor and transmission and tons of extra parts like a dash and several cars worth of replated bolts If I have it posted it's still for sale. I will delete the posting within 1 minute of someone handing me cash. NO trades We r selling it cause we r moving Cash only

  10. Per the above. Scored a MSA kit and need the calipers for both sides. 85-86 Maxima. These can be in need of a rebuild as I have the rebuild kit and will be painting them anyway. Thanks.
  11. Need a vent per the attached. The insides can be less than desirable but needs to have all mounting points. Going to use this mount an O2 gauge. Not sure if it matters, this is the left (drivers) side vent.

  13. A disappointing and hard pill to swallow, but it's the truth. You can bench race all day long but when it comes down to brass tacks, fast ain't cheap and doesn't bolt on or happen overnight. Patience is a virtue. It's only taken me 40 some years to figure that out!

  15. Since it will eventually need to be done anyway, are there any gains (besides tuning knowledge and experience) by adding a stand alone ECU right away to an essentially stock engine? I assume it makes no difference in this regard if you use MS, SDS, etc. Seems like you may as well jump that hurdle straight out of the gate.
  16. While cruising the interwebs I found a 1982 Turbo motor with trans (130K miles) from a 1982 280ZX for sale for $800. I got the guy down to $500. I've been looking for a 5 speed anyway and figured I could part the turbo WORSE case, but if all looks good it's going in my 75. He says it ran great when it was pulled. No ECU but I was going to use SDS anyway on my car. Can anyone see anything in the pics that looks out of the ordinary? The blue car is mine in it's current state, sans turbo.
