  1. WTB- Known good 5 speed trans form 280ZX to swap into my 75 S30. Couple of requirements: 1. Prefer it be located in the Midwest to ease the shipping cost or driving distance for pick up. 2. Seller willing to put it on a skid and secure it for shipping (if necessary). 3. I will arrange pick up by common carrier. 4. Must be available during the day for truck pick up. 5. Accept PayPal for payment. Thanks.
  2. The edges that are smooth and pulled away as shown in the first two pics look like they were never welded which would explain the torn sheet metal below. Those pulled apart and the rest went with it!
  3. BAM, now we are talkin'! Wake this place up!
  4. What he said. Wanted to help but have NO idea what you are talking about.
  5. http://datsunspirit.com/?wpsc-product=revised-280z-rear-skinny-bumper-conversion-brackets Someone else makes fronts, or you can make your own. Search my friend, search. It is impossible to have a issue regarding a S30 that has not been covered on this site.
  6. Did you email Mastermind asking if they could get the parts? See the FAQ. First question. http://www.mastermindna.com/faq
  7. Search, FAQ, Google. Lots of people doing this.
  8. There are a few posts here regarding exactly what you are doing. The problem is they are in several categories. Search MS section, Engine section, they are all over. For the most part though I believe you can run all that stock stuff with MS. Also look around here: http://www.megamanual.com/mtabcon.htm The MS site has some L28 specific stuff actually.
  9. The carbon hatch is being made, I just saw it the other but can't remember where. Someone here knows I'm sure.
  10. I have a stock downpipe. $35 shipped.
  11. Someone finds or makes them, I'm in for a set.
  12. Funny, it was thinking about this yesterday!
  13. Is yours done like the below? I suppose with the method below you could skip drilling into the back of the pulley, and instead use a "plate" on the back on the trigger wheel mount with a hole in it and put the crank bolt through and tighten it down. You could actually do it without even removing the crank pulley, just the bolt. Either way I have a spare motor on a stand and parts on the way so we will see how it goes! http://forums.hybridz.org/topic/67576-new-edis-crank-angle-sensor-mount/?hl=%2Bcrankshaft+%2Bsensor&do=findComment&comment=639742
  14. This is essential what I'll be doing. I'll make a piece from aluminum that bolts on behind the crank bolt (and replace the steel washer) and tap it to match the DIY wheel and bolt it on with button head allens. Very similar to your set up.
  15. I'm looking for the wheel mounted to the crank for an EDIS set up, the 6.75" wheel sold by DIY.
  16. Anyone have pics or drawings of mounting a DIY trigger wheel while maintaining the factory A/C? I have an idea but would like to see what others have done. Thanks.
