I painted my fenders, and headlight bckets outside on a nice warm day with lots of wind....luckily no dust was dropped on the wet painted parts

painted everything except the passenger door, and the car itself so the car is almost out of body and paint jail.I have to fix some dents in the passenger door, and the drivers side rocker, and the car still needs to be wet sanded, then it will get painted, hopefully pics will be up this week of my progress., and the car should be finished by the end of this week....I'm so happy

not yet but i think i know what the problem is. I tested the fuel pump with a volt meter, while I turned the key to the on position and the voltage read 0.03 volts so i think i may have a short in the wire somewhere. maybe I will ren a wire from the power side of the fuel pump relay all the way to the fuel pump to see if that fixes the problem.

did you make your own brackets for your bumper, and do you have pics of the front bumper brackets? I want to do the same bumper conversion on my 280z to shed some weight, and so the cops wont bother me because i wont have a bumper on my car

is there a write up of how to install and wire in the 350z dash, and steering column into the car? I would want to do this if there is a write up.

where would you mount the strap ends too if you don't have a rollcage?

are you going to use their stock seat mounts, or are you going to use your z seat mount, or just make your own?

you better be sure you make good measurements otherwise you will have just wasted you money.

yeah but i want them to last, and look good from year to year without having to worry about paint peeling, or rust spots.

I own a 1975 datsun 280z coupe all stock with the exception of the cold air intak, and the the sound system. currently it does not run, and I plan on in the next 2 years to put a RB26DETT skyline engine in it with a 6 speed manual transmission, my plans are to make over 500 horses. Besides the gas tank I undercoated a lot more. I undercoated the backs of the eye both cups,the back of the drivers side fender, the back of both valances (I guess thats what you call them), the back of the headlight holders, and so far thats about it, and i have use less then 1/8 of a quart so far. I will never drive my z in the winter EVER For the winter it will be in a heated garage, with a car cover over it. what a shame to leave a z out in the weather like that. you could have at least put a cover on it. don't be like the guy that owns the pantera. http://www.blackdragonauto.com/features/z/ZC61.htm the cheapest one is $60.00 and the most expensive one is $170.00 just take your pick, and save your car.

Going to under coat my gas tank with black chassis saver http://www.magnetpaints.com/underbody.asp after the undercoating cures I am painting the tank Blue, and clear coating it I think it will add some oooh's and aaaah's. I will try and get some picture up thats if my digital camera is going to work or not.

is the pic of tonyc z car have the louver that goes under the rubber? I can't tell
