When I first build a turbo engine, I hook the valve cover breather hose to a nipple on the J-pipe. Then it smoke like crazy under boost. two positive pressure isn't good for a turbo. Now I run a catch can.

it shouldn't be much of problem on EFI set up since it can sense air temp.
But yes, my car will ping when cold when my car isn't fully warmed up. fixed the problem with new thermostat and now I seem to be able to run just as much or more boost

Subaru LSD with 3.70 gears. it looks like a direct bolt on a Zcar. with correct M-bar and things. It's cheap and it's LSD. I wander if the diff has been upgraded enough to take the abuse? I've seen pretty hard launch out of WRX's
How much power can R180 can handle? TQ wise? I've been thinking about swapping R180 in my car lately. My can got little bit over 300ft/lb (dynoed 275ft/lb) Thanks
I don't like when I can't hear my car ping. (I can't hear anything over my turbo anyway) Mine is loud enough with just my turbo. I must be getting old.
