When I first build a turbo engine, I hook the valve cover breather hose to a nipple on the J-pipe. Then it smoke like crazy under boost. two positive pressure isn't good for a turbo. Now I run a catch can.

I was also told that the hotter air can travel better even in smaller diameter until it loses it's heat. Something to do with thermal dynamic.

Zcar looks pretty good with about 25-26 inch tall tires. fills in the fenderwells nicely. IMO I've ran 225/60/14, 225/60/15, and now 215/50/17.

that's what I did when I blew my stock T3, I just got a hybrid turbo because the price isn't that much different.

2.5 is max for the T3 flange, but you can expand it to 3 inch after 6 inches or so from the flange and have a 3 inch DP. that's how mine is done.

that's it. Duane is his name. He's real good. He painted mine for $1300 that included taking down the paint, some body work, and wet sanding. I would recommend him.

Woodstock is by West Blocton right? (by Holiday Beach?) If so, my car was painted by a guy over in West Blocton. He's good.

it shouldn't be much of problem on EFI set up since it can sense air temp. But yes, my car will ping when cold when my car isn't fully warmed up. fixed the problem with new thermostat and now I seem to be able to run just as much or more boost

thanks for the reply guys. here is the reason why I was thinking about it. Subaru LSD with 3.70 gears. it looks like a direct bolt on a Zcar. with correct M-bar and things. It's cheap and it's LSD. I wander if the diff has been upgraded enough to take the abuse? I've seen pretty hard launch out of WRX's

How much power can R180 can handle? TQ wise? I've been thinking about swapping R180 in my car lately. My can got little bit over 300ft/lb (dynoed 275ft/lb) Thanks

Go with larger diameter recirculating pipe, you can hear the BOV.

I don't like when I can't hear my car ping. (I can't hear anything over my turbo anyway) Mine is loud enough with just my turbo. I must be getting old. It is fun to have WG dump on other ppl while you are racing though I want to see some sick pass with the To4E 8) Track time!
