  1. A set of coilovers and some wheels will get the look you're after! I mean most of the parts you need will be coming off of mine, so you'll have everything you need for a good price, from one hz member to another.
  2. No worries. I'm here to help. Also one thing, I did have a little difficulty with the bolts on the driveshaft to the rear end. I can't remember what it was, but I just remember it being a pain in the ass.
  3. Hey Lee, this is a little off topic, but I did some research for you. So you'll end up using the Turbo stuff from the DET motor (Turbo/manifold, crossover pipe that has the factory blow off valve), there are provisions for the oil drain, feed, and coolant hoses, but they are either blocked off, or need to be drilled and tapped (i've read that some blocks have it capped off, and some need to be drilled and tapped for it). You'll need also need the ECU and MAF sensor (the injectors are the same size). So it's virtually plug and play. There's no wiring involved, you just unplug the stock ECU, and MAF, and replaced with the turbo versions. So everything you do is actually on the mechanical side of it all. You're compression is a bit higher (I've read two separate sources saying 9.5, and 10:1), but everyone seems to agree that you can run that same setup on 6-8 PSI, on the stock intercooler, and people say as high as 10-11 with a good fuel pump, and front mount intercooler. CX Racing makes a really nice intercooler, and I can source a Walbro 255 fuel pump.

  5. Agreed, my wife hated sitting in my R32 until she got used to it. I would look into the Corbeau Evolution Seat. (I also get them for a good price, sorry had to add a shameless plug)
  6. I originally went with the 4", because they didn't offer the 4.5 then. I had to modify my stock gauge pod to accept the gauges (which is on page 3 I believe). While it kept the classic look, the problem was the gauges sat too far recessed, and I could barely see them. I ended up selling a set of 4.5" to a customer and he said that he was able to fit the 4.5"s without using the stock gauge pods at all. He ordered 4 1/2, and 2 5/8's gauges. On the 2 5/8's my gauges sat on the outside of my dash, so if I had used the 4.5's it would have looked uniform, instead of having the two main gauges recessed, and the other three bulging out (again refer to the pictures I took on page three).

  8. I would think it's because the market isn't that great for them. I'm not a fabricator myself (which I'm sure you already knew), but I just can't see anyone paying that much for just a manifold. Considering 2K, is well on your way to getting a RB25 motor set.
  9. Hmm, i wonder if the manifold was made in sch 40, probably wouldn't have an issue with rusting. But I just don't see the market for it. I mean, the material is good, but what about the design? I just don't see material as a cost of 2K, maybe a grand, but no more than that.

    Does anyone have a way for Accel Enrichment? I've been reading a lot about it, but can't get it dialed in correctly. I understand the gist of it, TPSDot is a speed reading not a percentage reading, so you add or take away fuel accordingly, but for some reason I can't dialed it in JUST right.
