  1. Well guys, I got rid of my S30 a few months ago, had issues with rust, parted what I could. Lost a lot of money on the car, but oh well. I see everyone else on the boards are still working on their Z's and it makes me a little sad. I love the community here, everyone here is mature, understanding, and most importantly, helpful. It just makes me sad that I'm no longer a S30 owner, and that I'll probably never own again. I still my G35 (I guess it would be the modern day 2+2?), but it didn't get the looks my old S30 did. Young and old alike. I miss older fellas seeing me at the gas pump and telling me stories about their college years, or how great the car was, or how fun it was. And especially when they would say things like, "I'm glad to see that they're (the Z-Car) is still on the road". However, to keep the spirit of my S30 alive, I'm still here, and still helping the Z community. I've lived and learned the pain, heartache, and expensive of building one, and it's something I won't forget.

  3. Last day fellas! Make sure these orders go in before the close of the day for speedhut!
  4. I've heard some hit and miss stuff about Z fever. I would invest in a good OBD2 scanner that can datalog, or invest in UpRev's Cipher cable to take a look at whatever else could be missing. You can rule out Cam and Crank Position sensors though, because if one of those fail, it'll just have a hard start condition.

  6. If need be I can help you with the basic wiring. I had a 1uz turbo in my MKIII supra. I also had a manual SC400 supercharged on adaptronic
  7. Black Friday is here again! PM for the best possible pricing!! -Steve
  8. Thanh, I got it brother. Will PM you a price with shipping in a few. Or I can email if that works better. Thanks, Steve
  9. Yes they have a clock, and yes, the discount will either be the Black Friday, or a little better (depends on the number of gauges your purchase). No difference for the tach at all, Speedhut's are programmable. You may have to mess with them a bit before you can get it just right though
  10. Yeah, it's undergoing maintenance right now. Seems like all the yahoo based ones are. I'm actually thinking about having someone build me a new website, the old one is pretty drab
  11. Pretty much what I used. I wanted to try the hockey puck thing, but never had a chance to.
  12. To each their own, but I know what I know from experience. I've used their products without issue. QC is always an issue, but again, I haven't had any issue with their stuff. One of my friends bought the LS1 swap kit, with headers and the only problem he had was v-bands sealing, the rest of the kit went on like cake.
  13. So is everything else nowadays. Twenty bucks says virtually anything new in your house is all made in china.
  14. Well it's not that big of a deal, you can use the stock trans mount and cross member, I was able to get some mounts to wedge in, but I didn't have an issue with that setup. If you need rigidity, then aftermarket mount kit may be the way to go
  15. As is, no bracing. I've sold a few of the heavy duty SR20 ones as well, with no issues. I had one on my RB20 I had to modify a bit (before they made one for the S30)
  16. I don't think there is. I know turbo's carry a 90 day warranty lol. I know that we use their manifolds for 2jz guys, with no problems whatsoever. Also, I have one for my old rb20 with no problems either.
  17. Let me know, I still have mine plus goodies. I'd like to sell it pretty soon TBH, so I'd be willing to work out a killer deal. Has aftermarket turbo, mani, wastegate, reflashed ECU, GTR 444's, front facing manifold, along with LS coil pack conversion!
  18. It's been mighty quiet in here. I'm still here, and everything is still going on. Let me know if there's anything I can do
  19. Yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. The only thing that freaked me out when she was sewing and got her finger....
  20. Movie sucked, but there's a S30 in it. It's in the scene in front of their new apartment. Not worth checking out though. Movie sucked.
  21. There's the Z car club. I'm no longer a S30 guy
  22. IIRC the holiday sale is twenty percent. So really an additional ten percent. The good thing about the sales though, is that if you order just a single gauge you get the full discount. Also, I'm not sure if they do black friday sales or not.
  23. Generally most people use a combination of 4" or 4.5" for the two main gauges. As far as the three in the center goes, most people order 2 1/6, or 2 5/8. I recommend the 4.5" since it'll sit at the front of the dash, and the 2 5/'s for the same reason. Also look over the gauges and give the part numbers of what you'd like. Send it via PM please Thanks, Steve Also, another order just went in! Keep 'em coming fellas!
  24. A lot of jeep guys do, but nothing on Z. The cost is so dang high on them.
