  1. A lot of orders have been rolling in guys! Most orders are placed with me via email, so if you PM me, give me a little more time since i'm not able to check HZ as much as my email. My most recent delivered order comes from Daz http://forums.hybridz.org/topic/111012-speedhut-gps-gauge/ "I recieved my Speedhut gauges today and I'm so happy with everything ,they are Awesome !!! ihiryu, hooked me up with some huge savings from Speedhut and handled everything ! All I did was tell him what I wanted and he did the rest at a great price(I got a programmable speedo w/turn signals and custom text, Tach w/shiftlight and custom text). I post pics after work tonight ! Speedhut took roughly about 3 weeks to make everything the way I want its weel worth the wait ! My man ihiryu is a good guy with great communication and I recommend him if you want some speedhut gauges or anything else !" As always, I'm here to help you guys with whatever you need, as HZ has helped me with building my dream car, I'm motivated to help you guys as well. If you guys have any ideas on what y'all may want, let me know I'll do my absolute best to help you out!

Cool bro, I'm dying to see some pics installed! If your pop wants some, I'll definitely be able to hook him up as well. Glad you like 'em!

    Speedhut GPS gauge

Thanks brother! I can definitely still hook it up with gauges!
  6. They are pre-order status right now for 16x9
  7. For me it's a maintenance thing. Looks are just an added bonus. WinstonUSMC: Do you have any pics of how you got it modified? Also what year did were the brackets you got?
  8. I dunno, the first time I used a V-Band I tightened it down until the flange started to bend lol. After that I just tightened them until they would stop moving.
  9. There was a vendor or someone that used to make brake kits as well. I believe he was Joe D. or Jon D? I posted in his thread, and he said he would consider making more brackets. Dessert Z still seems like 500 bucks or so though right?
  10. Pretty much it's trying to find somewhere to fit it. I had purchased one and saw a few pics on Classic Z Cars, but I couldn't get it to fit.
  11. Looks sharp! So you have an idea on what you're charging yet?
  12. Thanks for the help, seems a little more complicated than I expected. Car is at the body shop as of now, once I get it back (before paint) the TTT arms and diff mount are going on. My question is, is there any down sides of leaving it at an angle. I'm currently running a RB20 swap, and everything stays at stock angles. If I don't modify the mount what will happen? Just a bunch of noise I assume? And could you go over how it needs to be modified? Thanks guys!
  13. Okay, I've had my diff mount for some time, and I was looking to do it. I searched around but could not find on how to do it. I've seen pictures of it post installation, but how hard is it to do the install? I'm assuming I'll have to drop the diff (so removing the axles and straps) is that it?
  14. I have wheels and tires. Tires are newish, came off of a 280ZX I believe. I'm in Killeen, which is about forty five minutes away from ya
  15. I don't know the difference, but my car was cali (since I have the floor temp), and I do have the distributor, since I swapped the motor. Motor ran good. I am in Texas though
  16. Whoa definitely interested. I'm one of these people that have the reproduction lenses, and definitely not happy with it. Do these fit the reproduction lenses?
  17. I just recently did this, the kit I ordered was from ebay. I ordered the hypercool 1. Fit pretty good, BUT I haven't finished the A/C lines. I am currently using the factory high line (since it fit on my rb20 compressor), and made a new low side line.
  18. I haven;t heard of it, link?? Did you ever do the DC2 coils??
  19. Both of you guys raise very good points, I'm totally glad I didn't just on this without thinking ha ha. I didn't even think about the height difference from how the spindle on the strut, how that would raise it up a good bit. I won't proceed with this, but I WILL look into a few other things, it just goes to show, the more I know, the more I don't know ha ha.
  20. Okay, so this is pertaining to a S30. I was doing some thinking last night, but a lot of people are running S13 coilovers (which I'm hoping to do as well). So I was thinking what if we were able to use the 240sx hub since we are using the lower mount on the coilover setup. I took a look at a few pictures last night comparing the hubs and how they set on their respective cars. The biggest issue is where the tie rod ends connect. They are on opposite sides. If we were to swap the 240sx hubs on our car, then we would have to flip them around (so left on right, and right on left). However, the issue with that is the brake caliper will be placed on the front rather the rear. The major pros that I can see to this (if it all works that is), would be the ease of doing a five lug swap (in the front) and we would be able to use a plethora of brake kits (z32, z33, even evo and sti brembo setups). I think that the issues really come down to the steering arms, I don't know what the size of our tie rods are, or even the lengths that would be needed in doing this swap. I don't know if we'd be able to use our stock inner with a S13 outer (also if we can use the S13 outers that means we can get longer/adjustable units). Does anyone else see any issues that we may encounter by doing this? S13 suspension http://www.dealerdirectparts.com/v/vspfiles/photos/3713065.gif S30 suspension http://www.atlanticz.ca/zclub/techtips/explodedviews/280z/77fsm/front%20suspension%202nd.gif Take a look at the pictures, and take notice of where the tie rod goes. So we would use the S30 control arm, the complete S13 spindle (on opposing sides), and S13 coilovers. This would eliminate the need to do any cutting and welding (sans the coilover mount). I think the biggest issue is going to lie with the tie rod ends, but I don't know what else could be. Hopefully someone can chime in!
  21. Yup sure is! I was able to get the Speedhut guys to "keep it open". So the deals are almost indefinite!

    Speedhut GPS gauge

Sorry it's not showing, give me the part number I can look it up. Trust me I can get it a bit cheaper than retail. For the most part, if it's a long bridge, you'll lose signal. No way around it, the sensor is mounted on the inside. If you were to mount it on the exterior it should be a bit better though, but when it loses reception, once signal is in range again, you'll get it back almost immediately

    Speedhut GPS gauge

I held a group buy on these gauges, a lot of people ordered them and seem to like 'em. Let me know, I can still get these for a steal
  24. Whoa, a little more insight on this please?? So you're telling me, you bought S13 coils, spindle, and five lug hubs and you were able to get it to work with our control arms?? So on the rear you were able to convert to disc as well?? Pics please! EDIT Boo, I just realized you were a S130, not a S30. Very cool car regardless though! I'm still trying to find a stock S130 turbo as a daily so this information is still good for me
