Just my opinion but I would blow air followed by degreaser followed by air followed by 5W30 oil under some pressure... maybe alternate oil with small amounts of air. then change your oil. Should be fine, I would think. In fact, this is probably overkill.

I suppose if you go all out for a super nice build with all the best parts you could spend $30K. From my perspective as one who can't do that I would opt for a lesser build. I sincerely doubt I would put $30K into a Z even if I had tons of disposable income. Some of those kit cars are really nice for about the same price. You're going to lose money either way unless you just buy a very nice (whatever) that's already built. That way the original builder loses money, not you. EDIT: After reading your last post it's become clear to me that your automotive life is overly complicated. Allow me to do you a favor. Just sign over a couple of your nicest cars and I'll take them off your hands.

If you're thinking of adding a G-Nose why not build a full widebody then? You'll surely want some flares to cover the wide tires you'll need to transfer all that kinetic energy to the pavement. BTW, why destroke the 350???

I like driving something one seldom sees. Vettes are common, Vipers are fairly common, stock early Z's are less common, and nicely done customized widebody early Z's are rare. Personally, I like the 250 GTO's because they're very distinctive and most people have never seen one. Nice widebody Z's are nearly this rare too. I don't know why but I just like getting a rise out of people. Vette's and Vipers do that too but, IMHO, they're comparitively blas'e. I think you should be able to build it for way less than $30K though... unless you're paying a professional garage to do all the work and you're expecting perfection.

LOL... yeah that's true. I can't comment on the RR kit because I haven't seen one first hand. The owner has a good reputation though. If you really want a sleeper I'd go with the more common standard nose. Better still get a Datsun 510 and transplant a beefy SBC into that. ^^^ Precisely what does "restructuring" mean though? Could it mean importing raw material or blanks? Maybe they'll be importing completed products? There's no way to know until it happens and they may be tight-lipped about it.
