  1. The 200zr pan is the only rear sump pan for the RB, but to make it fit you must make the front of the pan lower in order to clear the bearing cap girdle. and you will also have to cut up and mod the side in order to clear the oil pick up. As for the gas lines, you can use the old feed line as a return. And run a new line for a feed. I ran a -6 line for the feed, I was going to run a -8 but my 800 hp Aeromotive fuel pump dumps out at -6.
  2. I hope to like my Z31 CV's, And i know that some people like U's. but if you have to stop your car from squatting hard, then I think your 60' would be hurt.
  3. I would not want to change my springs if I was getting 1.6 sec 60' times. Would not want to mess with that, just my .02
  4. I can only hope to pull 60’ times like that. I have 225/45R17 BFG Drag G-force radials. And should have 400HP at the wheels. How do you launch? I find it interesting how some people can pull such low 60’ with not that big of a tire. And others have a hard time pulling low 2 sec 60’ with much bigger meats. I would love to be able to drop the hammer on my car and pull off a 1.6 with the tires I have on now. I was looking in to a set of 26x10.5 ET Streets for the track.
  5. Not to be off the subject but, 1.6 60' times what what size tires and kind? And the CV's should help you out. Ross C has some nice kits, I'm also getting the Z31 CV kit.
  6. yeah I might run them a diffrent way, from the back of the sump to the side. The car is still sitting up on jack stands not running so I have some time to think about it.
  7. This is what I did, for more info got to this link. http://www.hybridz.org/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=18590
  8. Were in Canada are you? I'm in Winnipeg Manitoba.
  9. The project is coming along. All I have for the motor mounts on AutoCAD is the flanges that I get laser cut. I will send you the file if you want.
  10. I can e-mail you the AutoCAD file so you can have the flanges laser cut in australia.
  11. You must remove the turbo in order to remove the stock mount and to install the new one.
  12. The RB26 has two turbo dump outs, I am going to make a y-pipe to join them in to my 3" ss exhaust. But you could run dual 2 1/2" pipes all the way back. like the V8 guys. I have 1/4" thick 304SS flanges that bolt up to the turbos. If you need some for your project let me know.
  13. Looking good Bob, your oil pan is coming along. Nice Vett bumpers, cool mod. I your injectors are red top mine were yellow? I wonder if they have different flow rates? trans mount shots?
  14. This is what I did to my 240Z tank, then I used the old feed line as a return. BTW, are you using one of the N42's I sold you? your project is coming along nice.
  15. Yes I do have a RB25 transmission, and the shifter sits in the tran tunnel quite nice. Here is a photo. http://www.rb26dett.freeservers.com/images/shift2.jpg As for the RB20 transmission I'm not too sure. when the time comes we can make some mesurements. For more photos go to this link http://www.rb26dett.freeservers.com/photo.html
  16. The mounts I make are for my RB26. Bob H and I both use them. They use the stock 240Z rubber mounts. I do not know if they will bolt up to a RB20DET, but 200zr mounts also bolt up to the RB26 so it should work. My mounts put the motor lower and farther back then the zr200 mounts, better performance. I give people 3 options with my mounts. 1. I give them ready to go mounts for 100$ 2. I give them the laser cut flanges that bolt up to the motor and the crossmember, and they can use them to make mounts for 40$ 3. I give them the AutoCAD file for free, and they can give the file to a laser cutter in their area to get the flanges cut.
  17. If it was a year or two down the road, I would be interested. What compresion are they and how much would you take for them?
  18. "Guest" What motor do you need mounts for? If it is an RB you are talking about, I can help you out.
  19. That is the way they sit in the GTR as well. the oilpan even has a tilt to it.
  20. one or two more ?'s for ya Stony when will you pull out your Z again? And are you done your Z31 CV swap?
  21. ON3GO, What kind of money do you plan on spending on your 240Z? If I were you I would get I car before you start geting parts for it. Find a Z with little to no rust, and see were you need to put money first, brakes, ball joints...... The part I would be looking for now if any, would be the turbo motor. Put that into the car and start from there. All the fun parts ,turbo timers, boost controlers, seats eat up a lot of cash that you could put into an R200, 5 speed, you know parts that you need. Then buy the toys. Just my .02
  22. It will be able to work with your L28T, they just cut in to the waste gate line. The HKS one I have will work with all types of turbo cars.
  23. I lot of guys in my city cut the big rig intercoolers down and make end tanks for them. I do not know how well they work.
